Soldier was a a wannabe tough guy who started talking shit. It's not like he got slapped for no reason. He got in the cop's face with aggressive posture after swearing at him. And this after he called the cops for help. Why would you start talking shit and swearing when you need their help?

At the very least the dude is dumb as shit. Seems to be pretty emotionally unstable judging from the second video too.

The cop seemed pretty controlled the whole time. He just slapped him, held him down with the knee and repeatedly told him that posturing up like that was threatening and unacceptable. Not like he started going Rodney King on his ass or anything.

I'm pretty critical of police but I don't see anything wrong here. At the end of the day the dude just got slapped because he got up in a police officer's face. He didn't get shot, run over or beat down with a baton. Police do way worse and more unjustified shit than this every day.
