If you meet a girl and y'all start dating and you know her whole name, is it acceptable to just friend request her on facebook or should you wait for her to say something while y'all are dating, like "are you on facebook?" or should you just wait for her to look it you and find you?
Adding Girls to Facebook
If she is a friend of a friend I wouldn't worry about adding her first. If it's just a random girl you met and don't have mutual friends, I would let her do it first.
Best to keep romantic pursuits off your facebook altogether, but that's just my preference. I don't need some girl I'm seeing looking at all my biz, and snooping to see who else is leaving me comments and all that. Why bother.

Agreed 100% but it's almost inevitable that she is going to find your facebook, and how are you going to deny her request? My Brazilian girl that didn't speak english would go on my facebook and translate things other girls would write to me or what I would write to other girls. Then she would ask me about them. It was a little psycho. I never asked her how she found out what I was writing, cause I already knew, but now that I look back on it I should have, just to point out how crazy that shit was.
I have someone(girl I used to date) that keeps sending me repeated friend requests. I just hit deny whenever they come. There's no rule that says you have to add everyone to your facebook that requests to be added. Or make a second user list that restricts what those "friends" are allowed to see on your profile. And if they start bitching about not being able to see your whole profile then they need to get off the computer and get a life.

That is what I do.
That is what I do.

Yeah, but if you are working on getting a girl in the sack or even already fucking her and want to keep fucking her, you can't deny her friend request. One option though is blocking what people can see.

Lol, yeah. I have an old one night stand who keeps trying to add me, I just keep denying.
I never really used facebook that much before it started to get filtered via the Great (Fire)wall of China. I prefer to keep things in IMs for online or text messages. If i were to add chicks tho, you can bet i would have chicks and good friends have very different privacy settings.
Facebook is a complete waste of time when it comes to girls. If anything it's better not to have one because it aids in you being "mysterious."
One of my best friends' meets girls off of Facebook all the time. He calls it "one big free dating site". He is always adding and deleting girls, re-adding them, closing and re-opening his account, adjusting his privacy settings, etc. What I have learned from watching him is.....
Facebook makes it easy to get girls but IMPOSSIBLE TO GET RID OF THEM.
plus, they can see the comments you make to other girls. (unless you are super air tight with your privacy settings)

This is one big disadvantage FB has. I recently erased all comments left to me by other girls saying stuff like a miss u and shit. Cause I was feeling it was hurting my game with others. I´m not planning on getting a fake FB account either, too much work.
From my experience, once you ask a girl for her number etc,, and if she offers you FB or email instead you are dead in the water. Some of these gals have hundreds of friends,,, so why be included in this group. Go for rarity and not plunge into FB territory. Put your profile on hidden, that only your direct friends can see you, and tell the chick that you don't do facebook. Say that you are a busy guy etc, no time to waste on childrens play etc. A little neg cuz you know she's on it every single day. DHV baby!
More evidence that Facebook is the enemy.

Skip to the end to see the OBVIOUS facebook cockblock.
Step 1. Girl is totally into the guy, makes out with him twice on the first date and says: "I would give [the date] a 4.5 [out of 5], only because I was so nervous in the beginning. We clicked so much — we will definitely go out again."
Step 2. They add each other on Facebook: "She asked me [to friend her] on Facebook last night..."
Step 3. Annie loses all romantic interest. "Annie responded to Andy’s text, but says he is not someone she would pursue romantically. They have not been in touch since then.

I just tell girls I don't use facebook. It's becoming increasingly acceptable.

Facebook is good for me because it's a neat way to stay in touch with friends from all over the world.
Never accept a girl's friend request unless you've already fucked. If HOT girls post flirty and "I miss you" shit on your wall, that is GOOD. You want that, especially if you're just going for bangs. This will put their respective hamsters into warp drive and she'll get super competitive, especially if she's a slut. You'll be able to fuck her in the butt on command. If she's a sweet-heart and long-term material, don't respond to other girls' posts - but you're not going to shut down your "social sharing" because she's insecure. The more other girls post shit on your wall that can be construed as flirtation, the more you can give your girl compliments - because you'll have OPTIONS and you're not coming from a point of weakness and desperation.
If you have not fucked, but she adds you anyways, don't accept. This will pique her curiosity as to why you're not some beta eagerly accepting what other men would grovel for.
Never add a girl on facebook. Ever.
I don't buy this using FB as a dating-site. Maybe some guys are having success, in which case I'd love to know how they do it. The hot girls on facebook are getting requests from creeps ALL the time - if you can get a hot chick on FB to take an interest to you, I want the whole story. Until then, I'm going to have a tough time believing it. Chicks less of 7 or less, sure... but above that?? Naah.

Facebook is for keeping in touch with people, especially ones i met in other countries. I know Krauser uses it for prospects who live far away and thats the only use I see for it.
I'm glad this thread got bumped.
I had a routine of using facebook to DHV both with New girls I meet and online dating girls.
HUGE MISTAKE!!
They start messaging eachother and it turns into a cockblock circus.
This one female cousin comments on my page a lot and she started telling me that girls would ask her how she knows me or if she was my gf. Its not like I'm 17 im fucking 42!
The one time in my life when I actually spit my drink out of my mouth is when I looked on my phone at the bar and a Colombian girl had sent me a engagement request that I hav'nt even met.
I have seen an improvement since I put facebook on the down low and thank the Roosh community for that. I probably would of continued to make the same mistakes for years.

My new book Famles - Fables and Fairytales for Men is out now on Amazon.
I'd say most of the time you shouldn't add, but I do have one anecdote to offset that.
I occasionally use FB for research. To keep it simple, I'm very good at finding stuff online and FB is often a good place to start. There was one girl I was working on that I decided to check into. I suspected she wasn't being truthful about her age. I found her profile, and yeah, turns out she's in high school. Deleted that number from my phone right away. I do not want to meet Chris Hanson.
On the plus side, it did give me the idea of demanding ID to get girls to qualify themselves. Obviously don't use it if they're over 20 or so.

unless you're good looking, with tons of pictures of you being good looking and hanging out with attractive friends sky diving and building schools in columbia, with 34 people posting on ur wall every day and 81 people liking every status update you make, FB is a waste of time and is more likely to sabotage you more than anything else
its really a shame because i think facebook is just the tip of the iceberg of what social networking will become - think having automatic status and location updates, photos, profile info at the touch of your finger prints, next gen smart phones/devices showing you the profiles and pictures of everyone within a few blocks of you, eventually project directly into a display in your glasses or contact lenses... we already have these E-celebrities with 1000+ friends, shitloads of followers of twitters and a FB wall that looks like a ticker from the NY stock exchange - just because he or she has a pretty/handsome face. A few years ago, if you were a loser, you had some degree of deniability or benefit of the doubt - now everyone will know.

If you're doing the online thing I would not add her before you hook up. If you are dating than that's a different story, after I hook up with a girl I may add or they usually just friend me. I can not emphasize how bad it has worked out for me when I was trying to game a girl online and she asked me for my facebook and I agreed. It does a few bad things, first she can stalk your ass and it takes away the entire air of mystery. I think a lot of girls do it because it makes them feel safer. If a girl asks me nowadays I just tell her I don't have facebook. If you have a bunch of pics on there showing you doing cool stuff just put them on the dating profile.
FB sucks ! ....i don't give attention to girls who are FB addicted...lots of girls on FB are just plain attention whores....by displaying their photos and receiving compliments.
I don't use my real name on Facebook. That way no unwanted people will find me.
