I'm certainly not a millionaire or banging dime pieces every night, but when I look back on the past decade I've done a hell of a lot better than I had ever dreamed I would.
Just curious to see if anyone else was a teenager who thought it would be a miracle if they could break out of the environment and circumstances they grew up in and do something better with their life. I knew my expectations were pretty low back then, but I've pretty much been on a gradual climb ever since I finished high school. That was almost ten years ago now...
We're programmed to always want more and do better, but when you think about it you also need perspective. If you've had victories in terms of finances, credentials, pussy, fitness, etc. You really need to just relax and enjoy it occasionally. I'm sure there are other guys on here who are very goal oriented who could benefit from the same.
