No more "I want to see other people"...

I can't tell you how many times growing up a girl would tell me "I just want to see other people", and then I would get dumped after a big fight.

I was watching some stupid romantic comedy yesterday, when one of the girls told some guy "Its not you, its me", and then "I think we should date other people".

All of a sudden I remembered being told that several times as a young man in my 20's, by whatever girl I was dating at the time.

One of the few good things about being over 30 is that I haven't heard that in at LEAST 8 years!

Being over 30 is nature's kick in the ass to a woman. It tells them "bitch, you got only a couple years to reproduce, and less men are already hitting on you".

Now the only way I would get dumped is over some huge disagreement, the"other people' argument doesn't even come into the picture....

I could just imagine if some girl told me that today...

"Captain P, I want to see other people"

"Sure, have fun!!!! Your a little bit old for me anyway, I like my gf's about ten years younger" "and also if we got serious, I'm afraid that you might be a high risk for pregnancy due to your age"

How you like that bitch??

Power out!

True... being a woman is a bit like a cruel joke: you get the best and tastiest upfront: attention, beauty, the world is your oyster. You get used to it and after you hit the wall at 27-32 it all goes away, leaving you disowned and with nothing but expectations and champagne taste on a beer budget...

When you tell a women they are almost too old to have a child they start flipping out....

I always say "I think around 35 is when the doctors consider you "high risk"...

I remember most of my biology books citing 30 as the age after which risks increase.. of course those were written before the current wave of self-congratulatory "I can have it all at 57" feminism took off. My (female) college biology professor always said having kids after 30 is only a viable option if it "happens" but should never be planned and that precautions should be taken to avoid pregnancies after 30 years of age...

Great thread Capitano. I've said this to a few chicks in my time and all of them went into borderline breakdown mode. Within a year of my revelation they all managed to snap up some unsuspecting betas who were unaware that their bitches were in the last stages of baby rabies. It was funny seeing the borderline breakdowns of these 'strong independent women' who 'didn't need a man for nothing', I did however feel sorry for the blue pill betas who were ignorant of basic biology, their queens were already past their sell by date.

Appropriate for the topic of discussion, not to mention hilarious because there's so much truth to it:

"I think we should see other people" fucking stings when you're a young guy getting dumped by one of his first loves and still putting women on the pedestal.

As a guy, you can't help but think, "So you're saying you want to go get fucked by other dudes?" Which is essentially what she is saying.

It's a bitter pill for a young, naive guy (who views his woman as pure) to swallow...

Young women don't seem to get this.

Beyond All Seas

"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe.
To be your own man is a hard business. If you try it, you'll be lonely often, and sometimes
frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself." - Kipling

Good point. I haven't really thought of this, but in order to get dumped by a woman there needs to be a lot of sabotage and self destructiveness that a guy has to do in order for the woman to dump him (for men over the age of 30, dating women in his own age group)

A good response to "I think we should see other people" is "I'm glad you feel that way...because I've been banging other chicks for MONTHS."

"The best kind of pride is that which compels a man to do his best when no one is watching."

Definitely. One 30+ "girl" I was dating actually looked through my phone one night at like 3 am as I slept peacefully. She realized I was doing a lot more than seeing other people, and after telling me never to call her again, decided to call me a week later and apologize about the whole thing.
