Just wanted to share a victory story with everyone. I was at the beach kayaking with some friends Saturday when they invited me to join them in a luxury suite at the BB&T Center (where the Florida Panthers play) to watch an undercard boxing match. Free liquor and food + the box was enough to make me go, although I knew it would be slim pickens inside the actual corporate box.

Im 24 years old and so are my friends (who are all settled down with the first girl that spread for them). The first thing I did was approach the guy and try to strike up conversation, yet like I said he came off like a real cocky rude prick. What am I supposed to stand around and suck the guys dick all night because he has connections? I always go for that first, and I put in some time in with him prior, even brought up business and he brushed me off. twice.

Not to backtrack, but I wasn't aware that she was the date of the CEO at the time of my arrival, and only started eyeing her towards the end of the event. I put 2 + 2 together once he stormed out of the room. For 2 people on a date, they sure weren't very close. This was far after establishing that this guy isn't looking for any new friends.

What does he/she want? That should be the first thing you think of when you're trying to win favor with a person. Read his emotions. Put yourself in his shoes. Then try to give him that. It could have been as easy as building up his ego. Maybe get him drunk.

I don't know if you read my other thread (South Florida Dolo game + network) regarding the guy who I met thats involved with porn, escorting, and multiple other more legitimate businesses. He throws these private yacht parties with CEOs and rich clients of his. He keeps it to a 5 guy maximum and 20 women. I need to get on this boat.

What does he want? Women. Good looking ones that are into getting high and naked. The women I have met so far would flip the f out if I brought them into that scene.

What the forum guys are saying (Dark Triad says it with the most clarity) is that you've missed the forest for the trees. You've just embarrassed your host, which is quite also possibly shitting on your friend by proxy. You violated basic rules of hospitality and for that someone will pay dues.

First, on the girl:

Obviously this is not your first rodeo, so the regulars have skipped past the (tiny) pat on the back to the smack on the head. You're not new to the game. You should have been able to read her body language and the CEOs body language and how they interacted to guess that they were together or the very least that the CEO was going for her. It's bad etiquette to go to someone's party drink their booze and eat their food and to mack on their girl. Again, this is not your first rodeo. Unless you just unplugged yourself from the game and stepping outside of your comfort zone, no one gives a shit about your story if you didn't at least fuck this girl at the time of posting. I mean, you're fucking with fire that could burn your friend and you didn't even get the bang? That's stupid and amateur.

Second, it doesn't matter that you did the right thing by making friends with the CEO and he turns out to be a dick. Out of respect for your friend, you stay friends until the night is done. The fact that this CEO is somewhat of a cocky sonofabitch means that it should be obvious to you that your friend will get flack and lots of it if you ruin the party. Which you totally did. Not only did you fail in terms of abusing hospitality (He may be a dick, but come on, free booze and food? Be nice), but you operationally failed by potentially putting your friend's job in jeopardy for a potential lay. Not a good trade. With your new found "skillz" and social awareness, you should have known better and searched for other girls who you should have been able to score anyway.

His opinion. its been a week and his job is fine. He also kinda let me know i could flirt with her at one point.. Who knows what situation my friend has with this guy or what.
