clothes maketh the man....or do they?

i've noticed a trend lately where even though i'm dressed down, i'm ending up having MORE interactions with and opportunities with chicks in bars, then when i've actually got dressed up for a night out

anyone else notice this?
i've had more success lately while wearing a tracksuit top/jack wolfskin jacket, bog standard shoes, shit hair and halitosis, then when i've prepped to go out, washed, shaved, good hair and wearing my stylish threads

I think it depends, some nights if you are too prepped up I feel like it comes across as trying too hard. Girls tend to be drawn to a kind of rugged not cleanly shaved look maybe because it makes them feel less self conscious about their own appearance?

Depends on where you are rolling. Which State? City? Venue?

Depends on what your "stylish threads" are?

What are "bog shoes"?

Did a search on google and came up with this:

i'm in dublin in ireland
venues are in city centre mostly, sometimes temple bar or dame street (for the tourists), other times in adjoining streets like georges street, wexford street or harcourt street (where you get irish chicks mostly, students or matures/milfs, depending on where you go, although i aim more for the 'student' end of the market!)
too many venues to mention, but if i get time, i'll do a mini-datasheet for dublin, where i'll give a breakdown of the various venues, good and bad

lol @ bog shoes!!
what i mean is 'bog standard' shoes, ie. shoes that are pretty ordinary or unremarkable, in this case, it was a pair of worn, slightly battered caterpillar shoes

For me, it tends to be about how comfortable I am in my own clothes; confidence maketh the man. Check out this thread, OP is very insecure about dressing well. http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-18480.html

It definitely all comes down to confidence.

To wit:

Swager wins every day. Suits done right are great cause they can accentuate swager but without it you'll just look out of place.

I freaking love that song! I actually fell over laughing the first time i heard it.

The great thing about the song is, not only is it funny, it's true!

You can construct great looks in any style you want from thrift stores
