What areas outside of Manhattan do the hot girls live and congregate?

It would seem from people's responses that it really is Lower Manhattan (which I define as bellow 110th St - sorry I should have been more clear) or easy access to the trains there or bust. My impression from the responses is that thinking you are going to have any success that justifies the cost of living if you live in Stamford, CT, White Plains, NY, Somerset, NJ, or even eastern Queens would appear to be naive.

Ehh lower Manhattan is regarded generously as anything south of 14th street, commonly south of Houston and to many native New Yorkers, anything lower than Delancey.

From Eastern Queens, depending on where you live in relation to the LIRR, you have easier access to midtown than say someone living in FiDi.

I've noticed there is a lot of subtle misinformation in this thread. Stick to replies with solid data only if you've lived in the city, and not have visited there for a couple of weeks a year, or are an occasional weekend warrior. I can tell you some of the bars posted about on this thread are amateur hourish bars frequented by bridge & tunnel, just graduated from college loon bins.

BP, I don't mean this as an attack against you, but as a NYC native I'd rather post up the most accurate info available rather than have someone blow a few $K on a trip here and be confused into living or staying in a different environment than what they signed up for.

Off the top of my head, I can tell you that Rationalize, KidStrangelove, G, and Timoteo all contribute with spot on NYC data. I'm sure I'm missing others as well.

Lower manhattan is DEFINATELY below 14th St, and even that is pretty high up....

Outskirts, hoboken is cool because there are a lot of bars, and you can take the ten minute PATH train to manhattan. Although it is currently out of service from the hurricane : (

White Plains has some bars, but pretty far out...

I like where I live (bay ridge, brooklyn), I also like astoria queens. Astoria is 2 train stops into midtown manhattan.

Bayside queens also has some action, but a long train ride to manhattan. If you ever consider moving to NYC, check the train/bus commute before you even look at an apartment.

I'm actually going to "studio square" in astoria tomorrow for football if anyone is in town...

How about in regards to nightlife?...Ive been looking into it and most things i have read recommends East Village as best for nightlife..havent heard much about SOHO?

Love Soho for nightlife.

Suits me perfectly.

G break down how you roll in Soho. What nights, what places, venue vibes etc.

I've never rolled down there except during the day.

Here are my spots: http://www.thegmanifesto.com/2011/12/new...heets.html

I haven't been since October of last year.

Kenmare was super sick back then. Is it still open?

I always eat dinner then roll around and swoop. Custom Suited of course.

Places I always hit no matter what:

Raouls - Love this spot.
Balthazar - The only place I maybe love more than Raouls.
Mondrian Hotel Bar - Good warm up spot. Slide up to the two fly girls at the bar.
Soho Grand Hotel - Dope. I always seem to get into some Skullduggery here.
Circa Tabac - You can smoke in here.
Cipriani - Goddesses.

As far as which nights? I think you can hit these places any night of the week.

For instance, I have met Model girls at Raouls at 10pm on a Sunday night.

These places are IronClad G Manifesto Certified™.

Do this tomorrow night:

1. Mondrian Hotel Bar - get a cocktail. Spit Game.
2. Balthazar - sit at the bar, get some Steak Tartare and Oysters. Spit Game.
3. Lure Fish Bar - Jump in and grab a cocktail. Spit Game.
4. Cipriani - Get a cocktail. Go upstairs. Can be a rough door, but it won't stop someone of your caliber.
5. Soho Grand Hotel - Spit
6. Kennmare (If it is still dope?)
7. Go with the flow

Epic Night or your money back.

(Side note: This is how I roll. The places are all close and stack up one after the other. My Game is all about these types of packaged moves™. All walkable, all smooth, all dope, non stop, til the break of dawn.)

Tell me how it goes.

Did you try this?

Did anyone?

Balthazar is a classic and steak tartare is my go-to dish that I will judge the capability of any restaurant on.

Then again, it is definitely not for everyone.

I think I went to all of those places in one night except for Kenmare. By far, I liked Cipriani the best. It had a nice vibe, very friendly staff and a decent, but not great set-up. They comped me drinks every time I went there. The good thing about the set-up is that from the bar on the first floor, you can see exactly who is in the first floor dining room and see everyone who is walking in. I went to Raoul's once. I wasn't too impressed, but I may have just gone on a bad night. I'm more than willing to try it again.

I am not talking about "one off's".

I am talking about following the move step by step.

The only one I went to on this list is soho hotel which is ok, it depends on the night. I'm not sure about the rest of them.

Another guy on here gave a very good list with specific nights, I think his name is guiding light. The only problem is that you most likely won't get in to a lot of the places unless you're willing to drop some cash or bring hot girls.

Dream hotel was consistently good, I had some good contacts so could skip the line otherwise this may also be difficult to get in depending on the night.

That is why I busted out this "cure all" of sorts.

All easy to navigate except for Cipriani upstairs.
