Interesting post BAB,sounds like a bloody nightmare to be honest,I feel for you having that happen. I think it is hard for anyone to know what went wrong without knowing you and how you came across to her on the holiday. Whilst you have broken the trip down in detail the nuances of your interaction can never be relayed and it's in the nuances of the encounter where the truth lies. It could be you did something culturally insensitive early on ( or continually ) or she could just be a stuck up bitch. Somewhere in between those two extremes no doubt lies the truth. Unfortunately only the girl will ever know why she acted how she did.
Anyway having said that I'd like to make an observation and offer you some advice as how to achieve what I perceive your goal to be. It seems that you want a smoking hot Slavic GF not just someone to bang once or twice. You want a beautiful girl who will take trips with you sometimes,visit you in Spain,develop honest intimacy,who has decent personality traits and does not see you as a walking ATM and chips in where she can. Nothing wrong with that,I think it's a damn fine idea and I believe very achievable,however,I think if that is your goal you went looking in the wrong place. You went looking for a virgin in a whore house.
I can't really comment too much on the idiosyncrasies of Ukrainian women in particular mainly because I don't speak fluent Russian/Ukrainian. To me you can't understand the inner workings of a race unless you speak to them without the distorting prism of communicating in broken English/Russian. What I can say is that the attitude of attractive women in Kiev is fucked up,worse then I have encountered anywhere. I've been shot down before I've delivered my opening line,had a hand put up to my face when I started talking,had backs turned when eye contact made,luckily I'm thick skinned and find those things amusing but it does jade your view of a city's women. I can't blame them entirely for this,they live in a city where there are hoards of seedy sex tourists constantly hitting on them. ( Example: I was having tea with a forum member in a cafe in Kiev. Two attractive women sitting across from us having a conversation together. Scruffy foreign guy at the bar walks over,sits down at their table and asks for one of their numbers straight off. They politely say no. He eventually leaves after running horrible game only to return ten minutes later to try again barging in on their chat. No game just a foreign dick with no class - imagine that every time you go out in central Kiev ). Hot chicks often have attitude anyway in big cities where they have numerous options it's amplified and for some reason in Kiev it is off the scale. I don't know how they are in the rest of the Ukraine because I have only passed through other areas briefly. So to bring us back to my point,if you are gaming Kiev chicks and hot Kiev chicks like you were then be prepared for and don't complain when you get stuck up attitudes. There are no innocents in central Kiev,they know their value and will aim to abstract it from you without giving an ounce more then they need to in return. If you are chasing the hottest girls in kiev then it's no different then the hottest girls in NYC or London,you better be offering the full package. If you are not then she will spend her time with you wishing she was with some other guy.
Now some will theorise that that bad attitude is endemic to FSU women. That the lands from Kaliningrad to Kamchatka is a land of hard nosed,cold, unemotional yet very attractive women. I will go ahead and call that theory utter bollocks. I know this because I have met and dated some great women in Russia/Belarus/Kyrgyzstan. Women who were attractive,intelligent,funny and a joy to know. Many of them I am still in contact with and I consider good friends,reliable ones too. I reminisce about Sveta in Gomel,six foot,a waitress,19,never happier then when we strolling by the river ice cream in hand,never asked for shit off me except that I send her a 'Ministry of Sound' album when I left for the UK,she used to give me free cocktails when the manager was out back. Gyldyz in Bishkek,cooked meals for me at her flat with her friends,had fuck all,shared a two room flat with 4 girls,borrowed a 80 Euros from me to pay for her exams,insisted she would pay me back every penny before I left Bishkek, somehow she did. She would phone me up at night time and sign lullabies to me. Funny girl. Olya from Svetlogorsk, Belarus,stunning,intelligent,sweet as you will find,was with her for 5 years,she ended up with a Russian oligarch living in the South of France,when they go to Moscow she insists I use their villa in Nice,was with them yesterday and I'll be there for a month in May sailing the Cote d'Azur with them,my closest friend. Adelia from Bishkek,daughter of a government minister,stunning,owned a fashion boutique,wanted to take me to Istanbul for a holiday with her,I declined as I was skint and didn't want her paying for me. Probably the wildest girl I ever knew,showed me a different side to Bishkek. Lena from Moscow who travelled to St.Pete with me,insisted on paying her half, hilarious girl to roll with,memories of listening to Bowie on the red eye back to Moscow whilst banging in our berth and making plans for future escapades,still in contact. Zaira who I had a fun time with in Abkhazia,never begged me for presents or shit,just a fun girl to party with,still in contact and will visit again. And then there were the many,many with whom I have not slept but who lightened my life in some way. Genuine girls who any guy in the west would kill to have on their arm,Natasha from Ulyanovsk with whom I danced the evening away with before my train to Moscow and wrote me letters every week for a year,the unfathomable girl who came to see me off at the railway station in the Urals,begging me to stay,the random Vitsebsk girl who I met at Slavansky Bazaar and took me to a party at the university,Diana from Moscow who insists I stay with her grandma in Sukhumi next time I'm down there,wants me as her personal assistant in Moscow. The two hotties from Nalchik in the Caucuses I met in Ochamchire,sweet,stunning but alas.... Another Lena from Moscow who spent a distant summer showing me her city every day for a month,ended up marrying a famous Russian footballer,insisted I attend the marriage. The Kletsk sisters,a summer spent lying with them on their bed staring at the ceiling and bellyaching...I could go on and on and on. These girls never asked for anything,never dropped hints,they did not get moody if I did something insensitive,they liked me and thus overlooked it like I did them when they behaved in ways I sometimes I did not fathom. And these decent girls are not just my experience,ask Neil about his GF from Vladivostok,he didn't need to shower her with gifts to keep her moods at bay. Ask Partizan about Ekaterinburg. Ask my mates who have GF's from the provinces and have taken them on cheap package holidays staying in crappy hotels and the girls have loved it and loved them,not complained about their feet hurting or stuck up shit. They may not be models like Kiev types but they are very attractive women who don't come with Kiev baggage.
My long winded point is get out of Kiev if you are looking what I think you are looking for. Don't be put off by your experience,not all FSU girls are like that believe me. Why do I return repeatedly? Why do others? It isn't for the food. When I last visited Kiev I hated the place with a passion because I could compare it to other places I'd been and other women I had met ( having a filthy cold did not help me see any positives either ). I felt jaded by the entire Slavic race but as I re-analysed past travels I realised that Kiev was a huge anomaly in my travels. The hot women there are a world unto their own although it seems that if Roosh is painting a similar problem in Kharkov then it may be a Ukraine problem as opposed to a city-centric one.
BAB without having met you,you seem to encompass what a lot of women in the FSU want and the type of guy who does well there. You seem intelligent, successful,the right age,probably culturally sensitive,probably laid back. I find that's what the chicks there seek. Your personality type won't get you laid lots over there but you will get laid with a select few very hot and decent chicks. Just go look for what you want in other places because whilst Kiev offers the beauty part of the package you seek,I think you will struggle to find the other part so easily. It is possible but you will have to spend longer looking there where as if you hit less spoiled places you will find it quicker.
