I get eye contact from girls in bar or clubs, but if go talk to them the conversation is friendly because I don't know how to escalate physically and/or verbally.

IMHO, the point of escalation is to make it clear to a woman that you are interested in her sexually rather than just being friendly.

Each of these moves will work in some situations and not in other situations so you must calibrate to the environment, the girl, your mood, etc...

Here are some moves that have worked in the past for me.
1. Put your arm around her.
2. Go in for a kiss out of the blue.
3. Tell her something about her that you find sexy.
4. Move close to her as you are talking to her.
5. Invite her back to your place out of the blue. (She will always say no but this can inject life into a dying conversation.)
6. Look at her intensely as you have a normal conversation.

That's all that I can think of off the top of my head but I'm sure there are countless ways you can escalate. The point is to take a risk and show her that you are a man who wants her.

I'll mention a couple of moves. You can use them when you feel it's appropriate in different moments of interaction. You can..

- put hand on girl's shoulder you start talking to
- reach out your hand if she takes grab and pull her little bit closer or spin her a little
- bump her waist with your waist
- playfully poke her stomach, it's funny
- reach out your hand if she grabs it take her hand and put it on your nape or shoulder
- randomly take her hand hold it and sqeeze a little and speak for some time with you hands locked like that. hand on hand is very intimate if she really holds your hand it's very good sign
- sit her on your lap
- sit with her with your hand on her shoulder
- stand close to her (or super close like almost kissing just to tease)
- put her hand on your ass, it's funny
- dance with her touching her waist
- tell her to give you innocent neck massage
- make her stand between your legs (when you sit on a barstool)
- put her hand on your lap and see if she's ok with that (while you both sitting)

As you can see those are not really very sexual things to do. And that's the point (to me). It's to make both of you comfortable in each other spaces. If you can reach that point in public place you're good. Then stay at that level, leave with her and pull the trigger in private place.
