"I only found out that the HIV rate in Brazil is only 0,3% - not different from southern Europe it seems? I think I checked it 5 years or so ago and it was supposedly at close to 1% back then? Anyway, seems like it isnt a bigger problem over there (anymore) than it is here really, and the big cities (rio & sao paolo) are probably the main places where it is a problem...? "

Those stats are slightly skewed German Dude: In places like Southern Brazil HIV is still extremely rare, almost non existant. In places like Rio or the Northern coastal cities, you can find that % really picks up allot higher. Not a huge need for concern, since you will be fine wrapping it...just don't get too comfortable with those stats.

I love so much Brasil that when I start talking/writing about it, it comes straight from the heart and all. I guess one of the reasons I've been postponing indefinitely and for a few years now law school is because of Brasil. I can't afford to be away from Brasil for 4-5 years. LOL
When I say/write that once you've had a taste of Brasil, you'll be hooked for life, I ain't kidding man. I'm a living proof of that (Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on whom you ask...LOL).

Chriss,
I speak 5 and 1/2 languages; 5 fluently (French and Farsi my 2 native languages, English, Italian and Brazilian Portuguese; and 1/2 I can understand/read very well but need practice to speak (Spanish). My next language will be Japanese. I love languages, specially the latin/roman ones.
I've been learning Portuguese on my own since 2004. Never took a single lesson/class of portuguese, it's been all on my own (mainly brasilian music, which I LOVE, chatting/talking to brasilian friends both on msn/skype and in person and reading brasilian sites and all;I learned Italian exactly the same way). While not native fluent, i've got to the point where I can speak/write/read quite fluently and a lot of people when I speak in Portuguese do not believe me when I say I'm not Brasilan.
Why?

Thanks Chriss,
Yeah I love languages, it's always been my favorite subject even when I was in school. My goal is to speak 23 languages in my lifetime. [Image: smile.gif]
I'm stuck for the next few months in Toronto, Canada and after that, I'll resume being a Vacancier Permanent or a Permanent Vacationer starting this fall when my businesses start to get back to the level of 2008! I've used my polyglotic skills in all my jobs as I've been the multi-lingual guy. I did it all from translating documents to translating phone calls, helping during meetings to meeting in person clients/officials from the countries I speak the lingo and all. I've toyed with the idea of having my own translation services company but after thinking it through, it would involve a lot of work and hours. Not what I'm looking in a business. I even considered for a long time going to law school and a career in International Law. I got accepted last year to law school but I've been postponing it as i'd much rather focus on my biz, so right now, law school is my plan C if you will. Plan A is my travel online businesses and Plan B is make sure that my travel businesses take off. [Image: biggrin.gif] So that leaves law school as a last resort option and I'll do everything to avoid having to utilise that option, believe you me!I have no interest whatsoever to be part of the corporate world, even as a high paid lawyer. NO THANK YOU! I'll take in a heart beat making 5-10K/month in my little online businesses and being totally free and mobile than being a high paid lawyer making a high 6 figure and being over stressed in a life I hate.

Brazilian women aren't necissarily nicer. I definitely got rejected a lot and I would say around 1/5 to 1/4 were even fairly rude rejections. I spent most of my time in a city with a tough croud though. Probably one of the hardest places I've ever been to hook up. As someone else mentioned earlier, they are also jelous. The one I spent the most time with, actually dated, was EXTREMELY jelous. She didn't speak english but she would go on my facebook and translate conversations between me and other girls and ask me why I was talking to those "whores." She would say, "Why did you tell so and so you were meeting up with her when you get back to the US?" I'm thinking, "How the fuck would you know that unless you got onto my facebook and translated it?" It was annoying. Another downside was they are harder to bang and not as sexual (if they are quality). But the upsides.... They are much more feminine and care a lot about their looks. They have a lot of compitition. To me, they are much more beautiful than American girls. They are also real warm once you have them on lockdown. My girl was a little boring, but she had a great attitude. She never really bitched about much (besides her jelousy tantrums). I feel like Brazilian girls are generally a little more boring than american women as far as activities (I'm a very active person, love the beach and sports,my girl didn't really like the beach a lot and wouldn't go in the water). They mostly just focus on being pretty, not many of them have a lot of side hobbies like a lot of American girls do. Their idea of a great weekend is basically going to the gym or running, then going to the salon and getting their nails and hair done, then going to the club after getting ready for an hour or two..... I don't mind this much though, it makes them pretty, it just sucks waiting for them to get ready. I think it's mostly the looks and the feminism that makes me real into them. The feminism is huge for me. While I said they were a little more boring as far as doing other things other than partying or looking pretty, they are still really fun to talk to and in general know how to have a good time, me and my b-girl got along very well even though we had practically no hobbies in common. Even movies, music, many things we didn't have in common, but we could sit and talk and laugh our asses off all night, and keep in mind I was speaking my second language and for a lot of the time I knew her, my Portuguese was shit. But none of this makes them nicer or easier. If they were nice to you in the US, keep in mind I think people tend to be nicer when they are in the US because I think it's probably harder for them to make friends than in Brazil. Or maybe she was just a nice girl, or maybe she was into you, who knows?

Most of this is based on the girl I spent the most time with, but I definitely saw it in other Brazilian girls as well, and not just her friends. I've had a little diferent experiences with girls who were either not real hot (Usually much easier to get with) or b-girls in the US, who are also typically a little easier to get with, especially if their english is real good or they've been to the US for a long time. I feel the more americanized a Brazilian girl, the easier she is to bang.

It's true. Now that I think about it I met the nicest chicks in Minas and Rio. A lot of girl I met there were really friendly and open to talking to strangers. In Vitoria and Sao Paulo girls were for sure bigger bitches. But it's kinda hard for me to fully elaborate on Vitoria, because I was really only there for maybe a week, week and a half before I started dating that chick. Though also, the nights I wasn't with her I was gaming other chicks (I only went out without her or one of her friends maybe 2 or 3 times).

Bro,
Between Brasil and Argentina, that's not even a context if you're talking about the quality and attitude of the women. Brasileiras are more beautiful, sexier and above all, way more playful and funner to be with than the histerica chicas argentinas. Argentina is a nice country, cheap right now due to the relatively advantageous and attractive exchange rate between the US$ and the Arg. Peso. Best thing to do is go to Brasil, meet a sexy Brasileira and take her with you for a very nice and romantic weekend to Buenos Aires. You'll both have the time of your life.

King Leonidas: Choose your next words carefully, Persian. They may be your last as king.

Messenger: Madman! You're a madman!

King Leonidas: Earth and water? You'll find plenty of both down there. No more of our women though.

Messenger: No man, Persian or Greek, no man threatens a messenger!

Let's face it, most girls you are going to try and get with in Brazil are probably going to be upper class, especially if you don't speak Portuguese. At least middle class. I'm not saying all Paulistas are bitches, but there were a couple that were just all out cunts. My second day in Brazil a girl at a bar we were at overheard my English and we started talking. My friend was going to school later that night and told her I would be all alone with nothing to do that evening. I told her we should get together. She gave me her number, I call, and she answers and starts speaking portuguese. I start speaking English and she wouldn't speak english with me. I thought maybe she just gave me the wrong number. She called back a couple of minutes later and still kept speaking Portuguese. Then she called back again and said some retarded shit in English that I can't even remember now, but it was super disrespectful. But whatever.

Then, I banged out a Paulista, we go to the club a couple of nights later. I wasn't showing much interest in her before we go into the club. I'm just chillin out, not kissing her, nothing like that, trying to make her get on the jock. We get into the club, I go to the bathroom and come back, she is making out with some other dude. This is like 5 minutes after getting into the club. I see it going down and say fuck it, I'm doing my own thing. At the end of the night she tells me how sorry she is and blah blah blah. She said "I'm crazy about you!" A week later we are hanging out again, she is still trying to appologize about it. I say, "Don't worry it's not a big deal." I honestly didn't give a fuck and definitely acted like it. She hated it that I wasn't getting mad about it, it drove her fucking crazy. She wouldn't shut the fuck up about it and finally I was stern and said something to the extent, "Look, I DON'T CARE! GET OVER IT! WHAT HAPPENED HAPPENED!!! YOU'RE MAKING A BIGGER DEAL ABOUT IT THAN I AM!" We went to a club that night and I was showing her absolutely no love. I hardly talked to her, instead was talking much more to my and her friend (Who were dating). She ended up saying she was feeling sick and going home early. That was my first time in Brazil. The second time I went back I banged out one of her best friends and refused to answer her (the girl I bangged the second time's) calls, wouldn't answer her friend requests on facebook, nothing. She ended up going to my friends school and waiting for them to get out of class and handed my friend a note to give to me which read something to the extent, "Hello my beautiful American boy, I'm looking foward to seeing you again...." Blah blah blah..... here is my number. I never called. The origional girl I banged out was so pissed. I sent her a friendly message on facebook just to see what she would say, she didn't answer back.... Her whole hooking up with the dude in the club was obviously about her trying to get me jelous because I wasn't showing her a whole lot of love at the club, which I probably eventually would have gotten down once I got drunk and horny, but I honestly just wasn't really that into her. It was a horribly desprit and obvious move, and a total turn off.

Haha, goddamn I'm a scumbag sometimes, and I love it. That's for all the beta males these chicks have fucked over.

That is my experience with Paulistas (Though I did meet one at D-Edge that I was pretty interested in, but it was only a one night thing because I was leaving a couple days later). Not to mention the Paulista that was talking to me for a good 3 or 4 minutes, seemed like she was feeling it, and asked where I'm from, when I told her the US, she said, "You're American, I don't want to talk to you," and walked away. That was my first day ever in Brazil. Plus all the other cunts I met in Sao Paulo.

I'm sure you're a rad chick though (I kinda have to assume you are since you are posting on a pick up artist blog), I'm not saying all paulistas are cunts.

I am not saying that you will date poor girls in SP, however you have no idea how different upper class and mid class can be.
I will teach something in case you didn't noticed: B' girls like to be cuddled. If you go out with her, and she was your date... Public kisses and holding hands are necessary. I think that she felt that you are not into and got to something else, and then she regreted later. I don't have no idea on what went on.

You're SO right about this. It's actually one of the things I enjoy/like the most about brasileiras, they're so affectionate and feminine at the same time. Things that you wouldn't see with a North American girl. It's so refreshing when you're with a Brasileira that you feel like you've died and gone to heaven.

This is once again SPOT ON. Upper class girls in Brasil live in a world of their own, which is for about 99% of us, unattainable and unreachable in the sense that these chicks have a lifestyle similar to the celebrities and multi-millionnaires in the West. And their attitudes is insanely bitchy an spoilt, that they would make Paris Hilton look like a well behaved polite girl brought up in a convenant. The best and only way to stand a chance at getting them is to get into their social circle and be introduced to them by someone from their world. The other alternative is to have all of the following:
a) model looks
b) shit load of $$$ (think 8 figures minimum)
c) be a celebrity (sport pro or singer/actor)
d) perfectly fluent portuguese

So all in all, stick to those very nice middle class girls. They are down to earth, sincere, with good values and are educated and are hard working in the sense that they are earning their own $$$ which is huge in Brasil and can never be overlooked because you want to be with a girl who likes you for what you are as a person and not your wallet or what benefit you can be to her.

Trust me, I know the drill. I've been with more Brazilian girls than American girls. I dated a middle class Brazilian girl for a couple of months. But I'm not going to be all over a chick if I'm not feeling it.
