This may deserve it's own thread, what countries online dating is great, what countries it is decent, and what countries using online dating would be a complete waste of your time. Everybody says it is horrible in Puerto Rico. I think the consensus is that it is not that great in Mexico, although you shouldn't completely refuse to use it there. What I am reading is that it is really awful in both Argentina and Paraguay. Everything tells me that it is really good in both Colombia and the Dominican Republic. Is this all accurate?

It seems countries less likely to use online dating are less likely to date foreign guys too. Haha the one thing I do know is Argentinians dont like Paraguayans, they think of them the same as Mexicans in the USA.

Online dating isnt a complete waste of time but Social circle and nightgame might yield better results. From what i remember in Argie, girls rather hang out with friends friday and saturday nights and meet people that way then go on a date with foreigner

I never thought about it that way, but it's true. Puerto Rico and Argentina are, by all accounts, horrible for online dating. Mexico isn't much better. I've always been under the impression that those three countries are easily the toughest places in Latin America for foreigners.

I never understood why Mexico is so hard. I can understand Argentina, but Mexico? Hmmm, given Mexico's colonial past and caste system you would think a white guy can go there and destroy because of racism and because in countries where colonialism ruled, whites tend to be on the top of the hierarchy. In Peru, this seems to be the case where a white guy can go and fuck bitches easily, and Mexico you would think would be similar, but it isnt.

Something I do notice about Mexicans in the U.S. is that they are extremely nationalistic. Extremely prideful even toward the point of arrogance. Mexicans would brag about their culture non-stop. They brag and embrace their Aztec history, very proud people. So the love for outsiders seems to be low.

Argentina and Mexico are probably the most arrogant countries in Latin America who think their shit doesn't smell. Both those countries are constantly attacking each other in the media.

When you have two very proud countries and very chauvinistic countries, they tend to not like outside influences and stick to their own and this includes women and men.

That's how I see it.
