Indio Loco is-was the name of the party on Sundays at Nikki Beach that started in the late afternoon until 5am Monday morning. At least it was years ago. Maybe its not still around anymore as I thought, that may be why you haven't heard the name.
Ha.
This thread is going to send some cats on here looking for "Indio Loco" and everyone is going to think he is crazy.
The strange thing about South Beach and Miami is there is a surprising lack of good information on the internet about the place. You would think that a city as well known as Miami would have some good resources to go to. They don't really exist.
Florida is kind of strange in that regard. People haven't really caught on to the whole internet thing there. Keep in mind, I am comparing it to California on this level.
Yea, and it might set some spanish speaking cats looking around Sobe for the crazy indian.
There is a lot of data on the internet about Sobe & Miami as anywhere else. Good info as you put it is another thing. When I was there, I set Miami.com as my browser home page and read the New Times every week to keep tabs on what was going on. There was a column on Miami.com by a writer named Leslie Abravenal who provided nightlife info and tips (where to go, what to do, etc.) for travelers & tourists coming into town. She would basically recommend a Step-by-Step for a particular date based on the preferences that the person described.
Key word here: "provided".
Does she still have information?
That is my point, there is no real good source on the internet for Data on South Beach. Not one I have found anyways.
New Times and Miami.com are mediocre at best. At the very best.

Btw, I see that you mention sushi on Sobe in this thread. Have you tried Nobu in Sobe? If so, what do you think?
Of course. First time I went was when they first opened close to 10 years ago.
I have probably eaten Nobu's in 6 different cities.
Miami was always one of my favorites, because well it is in Miami, so the girls were always 100's of times hotter than say the Malibu, LA, London or San Diego locations.
That all being said, for food, Nobu is decent to good, and slightly overpriced.
I haven't been to the Miami location in a while so I have no idea how the scene is. I can't imagine the place being too hot nowadays.
It is not great sushi by any stretch. It is kind of like sushi for the guy who thinks he is a sushi expert but really doesn't know jack.
Asian food in general and sushi specifically are heavily lacking in Miami.
