Nightlife in Muslim Countries?

Does anyone here have any experience going out in Muslim countries where alcohol is banned? I'm not talking about the more westernized countries like Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey where alcohol is legal.

I'll be going in a few months and am curious to know what it's like going out when the only places to drink are at licensed restaurants and bars, expatriate clubs, and of course at house parties. Thanks in advance for the advice!

I hear that banging a non-pro in places like Egypt, Jordan, etc. is pretty much impossible.

Haven't been to Bangledash, but ill second what roosh is saying. Im pretty sure its more liberal there though so you would have a better chance then in a place like syria. Id defintly ask around when you get there but in my experience the best places are in the urban cities OR in vacation spots nearby (maybe goa, or to the east in SE Asia)

I was in Morocco over the winter break -- nightlife was pretty much nonexistent as far as I saw. There were a few nightclubs on the beach in Tangier but I didn't visit them for fear of being surrounded by fat, 45-year-old Spaniards.

Thanks for the information Eric, Roosh, and hibachiwoj. If anyone has any more information from first hand experience I would love to hear about.

From what I've heard, unless you're in Lebanon, Israel or Dubai, nightlife in a middle eastern country is either a visit to the local mosque for prayer or sipping Arab coffee in a cafe and playing dominoes with a bunch of men. That might be an interesting cultural experience in itself, but good luck getting laid.

Pretty much dead on in the majority of Iraq, although Baghdad has its spots for the children of the well-to-do...not that I would recommend it to ANYBODY not from Iraq.

This thread makes me giggle for some reason...

but, if you want to experience nightlife with people from the Middle East, I would imagine Dubai is the spot, but then again if you think hooking up with an Italian or Greek in Italy or Greece is hard, then you're going to have just as hard, if not harder, time in the Middle East.

The thing about Islam is that saving yourself til marriage is quite important, and family respect is also quite important in certain areas, so if a girl is seen "slutting around" it has repercussions not just for her, but for the apparant bad upbringing she's had... so in conclusion hooking up is very difficult unless you go to some hooker... which many of these countries, as well as certain catholic countries, have a lot of.

I once read on another forum that Indonesia has a crazy nightlife - Jakarta if i remember, and the chicks have no hang ups about sex, one night stands 3some no problems.

I'm curious to know if anyone has had experience in Malayasia?

Based on what a couple friends who have visited Muslim countries tell me, you really need a contact in those countries.

In many of the major cities there is partying going on, but its all underground, meaning house parties. You have to have an "in".

Finding contacts is probably not easy. The friends I mention above were actually originally from those countries and spoke a little of the language.

I went there a few months ago.

I stayed in Kota Kinabalu. It was some of the best fishing I've ever seen, but gaming was non-existent. Drinking was legal but it was only men at the bars. It was a similar vibe to Afghanistan.

I also drove into Brunei. No gaming whatsoever there, either. The women all looked Iraqi. Alcohol is flat-out banned.

Bali, however, is one of the best places to travel to. The whore business is booming there, and I think it's like Thailand or Philippines, where you are going to have a really hard time finding a local girl that isn't out to get something from you.

Aloha!

Hitting up less touristy cities will help with this.
When I was in Thailand, in Patong Beach, Phuket Island (a very touristy area), literally 90 percent of the girls at the clubs were whores. It was so bad that the 3rd sentence out of my mouth was "are you a working girl?". jajaja oh the memories. Thailand was great.

Interesting comments. Could you elaborate on the bolded part please?
Speaking of Afghanistan, a few people I know have been to Kabul in the last 2 years or so repeatedly to visit family and they keep on telling me that there is a good nightlife, but its strictly for the gringos/gringas. There apparently a famous bar in Kabul which is the meeting point for gringos/gringos/UN workers/soldiers to go for a drink and look for an easy lay at night among the foreigners. As to locals, it's strictly a no no.

Regarding sex with the local women in most muslim countries, if the girl really like you, she'll let you fuck her ass but won't you get anywhere near the pussy to preserve her virginity for when she gets married. I have heard countless Arab/Afghan/Iranian folks tell me of how they did/do it back home with the local women.

But for most of us in this board and other like minded guys travelling the world to the sample the local women, countries like Afghanistan and I'd say Iran/Irak are out of question simply because if you're found out, you're not only dead but cut into pieces as well.

This is more of the information I wanted to find out about. I am visiting a friend who is from there so I know we will be going to private parties for the most part. But I was wondering what these types of parties were really like. Is there anyway you could ask your friends about them?
