Back in the TO trenches. Montreal is a nice change, and a nice place to live - but it is not a players paradise. Far from it.

Winter time is too damn cold that's why! Toronto is a grey concrete dump in the Winter time but its at least somewhat mild.

One thing I noticed about clubs in Montreal is the demographics. It is usually about 7 men to one girl. That is fucking brutal. In fact at Club Copacabana -- they allow women in at no charge until 12:00am on Saturdays. They make their money off charging men and high coat storage costs which is $3.50. Despite that I was surprised how friendly montreal men were to each other.

The same ratio is in TO clubs. That is why i think clubs are no good for meeting women. I wonder if it is simple demograhics -- where they may have been more male births or immigration compared to females at this particular point. What else can explain the high male presence in clubs?

I do remember a particular incidence that happenened in 1998 or so when I was visiting Cuba. There the female presence in clubs was and still is I think a lot higher than males. I remember going to this club and there were many hot women and not too many guys. Then I saw these two hot women get into a somewhat viscious fight over a guy. I was stunned watching that. It was easy picking for me to.

So I wonder if all this women shit that is occuring is simply due to demographics.

If for example there was a demographic shift in TO where there were more females births (or more female immigration) than males -- would that have a impact on woman attitudes.

You saw that at Cavalli on Thurs?

You been to KOKO?

Yes at Cavalli's also on Thurs. Its a bit of a more mature crowd. Still police came in a couple of times in the night. At closing time quite a few police came in and even arrested a guy.

Way more men than women --7:1 is about right. Pretty brutal. -- The women were hot hot. Women would talk to you but they have much attention -- you really need some serious high skill game to make it happen. I just could not see a pick up happening in that environment. Maybe I am wrong though. Guys were also friendly. The staff - super friendly.

One gorgoeus blond girl --fuck beyond gorgeous -- was grabing another girl's crotch openly while dancing. I learned later that both girls worked there as staff. The article above on Cavalii's gives a pretty good description of it. It is only a thurs night club though -- if I am not mistaken.

I did not go to Koko.

I am more interested in day gaming now. NIghts Clubs are just not the way to go imo. The costs add up - taxis, cover charge, coat check charge, drinks, etc. And what if you go to more than one club? The costs are big. Then the chance of meeting women are so small with the high male to female ratio.

Never saw that ratio, or anything near it in summer. I had to have gone there at least 8 Thursdays.

I am 99.9% sure I know those girls.

I was at Ivy Lounge last Friday - the new one in Vaughan but I heard the original location in Burlington is better and busier. The place is Cougar central but it was still at least 60% guys. Felt strange since this was the first time I had gone out since I got back from Kiev and I'm use to having at 60%-70% women ratio and getting looks from early 20's girls as opposed to early 30's here. The place is definetly nicer and a better crowd then the other old standby Dirty Martini which is another well known Cougar hangout. Next door to Ivy is Berlin and I went by later at night - DEAD. I guess Ivy took all their crowd LOL.

Welcome back, Ivy in Burlington is worth a visit. Same crowd as the one in Vaughan by the sounds of it, the ratio might have been split when I went.

I was talking to this guy who was telling me he has a three week work project in Hamiltom. He told me Hamilton is a run down place with economy in the gutter. Lots of Businesses have closed up.

This got me thinking that would game not be easier in run down places. If Hamilton has some decent clubs, I wonder if they would be worth checking out. Any opinions?

For example there is a club there called Viva's on 15 George st downtown -- no cover charge. Anyone heard of it - is it worth checking out.

Hamilton has a decent scene. Its way more of a typical Canadian town and the Bars are a bit more rowdy. Hess Street has a ton of bars along the stretch and you will find broads from McMaster, Burlington, and some even make the trek from Toronto. I plan to make a trip out their on some weekends once it warms up.

Hamilton is a hole but its still the GTA. You go to some shit towns out West or in Atlantic Canada and they are dumps. Hamilton is still a large Canadian City of 700K and has a decent amount of stuff going on. A lot of people live there because its cheap and just drive into Toronto for work.

Alot of cats are now talking about St Catherine's and even Niagara Falls as the spots to party now. The lizards are much more receptive compared to you know where.
Hamilton has always had a good scene, be careful though there are alot of working girls/strippers living there and plying there trade.

What’s Wrong With Women’s Studies?

Academic Feminism, Censorship & Men

Featuring Professor Janice Fiamengo

In Professing Feminism: Education and Indoctrination in Women’s Studies, Daphne Patai and Noretta Koertge present research showing how women’s studies has come to serve a political agenda, leading to deep problems: dubious scholarship, indoctrination, and the alienation of supporters.

Dr. Janice Fiamengo, U of Ottawa English Professor, discusses the problems of academic feminism at Canadian universities: dubious scholarship, indoctrination, dogmatic teaching approaches, limitations on free speech, effects of “equity hiring,” and the consequences for men in the humanities.

Thurs, March 7 at 7:00 PM

Note: The University of Toronto has kindly offered us complimentary use of one of their theatre venues, in order to better ensure our free speech rights to host this event are honoured. The new location is a 5 minute walk from the previous location.

How about a bit of a mini data sheet of St catherine and surrounding area -- and if possible Hamilton. What is your expereince like out there and your opinions of women there compared to TO. Also what is better day or night game. Thanks.

Another hostile and rowdy group of protestors -- this time all in masks -- were at the Cafe Men's lecture at UFT. No violence though. The audotorium was packed -- and as Professor Janice Fiamengo began her talk, the fire alarm went off -- forcing everyone to evacuate the bulding while fire trucks had to arrive. The protestors were also in the audatorium --and when it came time for Q & A -- a lot of hostile questions were asked to the speaker. All in all though a very successful event. Cafe is doing a great job high lighting men's issues at UFT and other campuses.

Hey this is great -- can we set a meeting up perhaps for tomorrow -- Sat March 16. To be honest I have given up on TO -- and am planning my exit -- but I would still sarge for the heck of it. Anyone reconmend a good place to check out. Maybe the Drake? - as a return spot where Roosh came out.

Tonight won't be possible for me tonight pbw, so how about we meet somewhere during the week to discuss about our game level and style, and that we go it some places next saturday for sarge?

I'm feeling just like you about TO since all the respected TO forum members like Kosko and Torontokid have mention that TO is a warzone for night game, but I want a challenge to keep me focus about leaving this place sooner than later!!

Imho, approaching the TO scene - especially night gaming --bc you want a challenge (for whatever reason) may do more harm than good. If you are here for only a few days, then it may be ok to give it a try. However, if you are stuck in TO, approaching it from a challenge mind set, will lead to frustration, you may even give up on game -- and in worst case you end up in jail and have to deal with some criminal charge. My mental frame now is don't even bother with game in TO as TO women are too flakely and will be a few steps ahead of you. My basis of thinking now is simply go out for the fun of it --instead of having to stay in -- and do not expect anything. Still apply some pua techniques if you really want -but just for the fun of it. Clubs are also the worst places to sarge --some say lounges are better -- but I think the best are some local type of group parties and maybe dinning out kind of gatherings. For example there is a party of 225 persons at the UPtown Loft at Yonge and Eglinton -- which I am thinking to check out. I would be interested to meet other puas just to socialize and see how others are managing their approach to TO. When I was recently in Montreal, I became a lot more outgoing, relaxed and social there -- and would approach girls more in a natural and easy going way. However since I am back in TO, the old patterns of not wanting to interact with TO women creeps in -- and communication is no more natural -- but takes abnormal effort. Just my opinion. I am interested in what others are doing to manage with the situation here. It may be good just to get together and socialize and perhaps exchange some ideas and plans like we did when Roosh was here. The best plan is still the exit plan though.

I was at Club Fiction on last Sat. night. IMHO yes although there are tons of clubs and bars in Toronto it's a hard place to crack. At Fiction the crowd was more like early to mid 20's with a slightly higher men ratio. Toronto crowds tend for single girls tend to 2-3 girls together, usually if there are not drinking much there very little chance is what I have found. That being said I know a single guy in early 40's here and yes he is a good guy looking more in importantly he has ton's of game and hence always picking up younger girls in the 20's. He goes out 2-3 times a week and mid week he usually goes solo as he lives down town. Despite Toronto not being easy especially for a solo guy , it can be done.

I am thinking of going to Montreal again -- this time for a month. Maybe late May. I am actually going to Vancouver for a week early May -- about 6 weeks from now. Lucky I have family there. I am running the Vancouver half marathon. I am trying to do about 18 -20km every wednesdays -- and other short runs throughout the week for my training. I should be ok to complete it -- as I did the Van half last year also. If there is a place worse than TO, I may have to agree that it just might be Vancouver. Althugh Van is a beautiful city -- the women are just as worse as TO women. They are so inside themselves and hard to connect with. One good thing about Van is they really hate anyone from TO. I never say I am from TO when I am there. But Montreal had a nice vibe to it. More out going -- and women will talk to you there. I will try to sublet my apartment in TO for a month and try to find a one month sublet in Montreal.

Met with two RVF members last night and hit the town. All three of us are of different ethnic backgrounds and we got alot of looks last night, even spoke to one girl who came out and asked me how we knew each other. My response "it's complicated", no I said it is a long story.
Think I have found a secret spot which will remain secret for now. Toronto has alot of venue's and you really need to find the right one at the right time, which of course involves some degree of luck. What makes the city so frustrating is that there are alot of women but their attitudes aren't too my liking.
All in all, the city seemed empty last night. I guess alot of people were at home celebrating Easter.
