I hate it. It's usually so crowded when you get inside that it's not worth it anyways.

I'm starting to realize that dive bars and mellow bars where you can talk a little are more my style anyways. I think these wait-in-line clubs are only good for taking women you've already met to, or even better, a group of girls.

Get there early. You don't have to wait in line as long/at all. Also, game while you're in the line.

This. The line is a great place to meet girls. Everyone is excited, bitch-shields not quite up yet. Talk about the most random shit ever, DHV etc., but don't be direct in the line. Just make them think you are cool. If anything you want to talk to as many girls as possible instead of having a long conversation.

Now that you have made a basic connection in the line, after you are inside, you can just walk up to the group with no resistance because they already know you. Also, by not being direct while in the line, you have given them plausible deniability - "oh, he isn't hitting on us, he is just friendly like that'. Now you can run crazy game and escalate fast.

It's worth it to wait in line, but it's not worth it to go into the actual club.

Some day I want to make a whole night of waiting in lines. Your best game of the night is always in line. Captive audience and forced connection. Just go around the city waiting in different lines, collecting #'s, never going inside. Then closing time comes and mass text "afterparty at (my address)."

Dagonet had a recent post: http://thequestfor50.com/reality-is-what-you-make-it/ about how waiting in a line for a club partly killed the vibe. I'd agree. Shows you're just an ordinary person waiting around like everyone else if it's just the two of you.

I've always felt that a club is a club - and that none of them are really worth standing in line for a long time to get in. If there's already a group of your people in there partying, and you really want to join them, then maybe. If you're with a large group of fine honeys, increasing your odds of getting in quickly, maybe. But otherwise, I prefer to go to the type of places that I can walk right into, with the only delay being to check my ID.

A lot of times (expect for really crowded club) these queues have no real reason.
They create queues by letting guests to enter real slowly in order to make people think that the club is exclusive and you have a privilege because you entered.
It bothers me that many dumb people really believe that normal club are exclusive and this type of stupid stuff.
I prefer show at the club earlier or to go somewhere else since my time is more important and I hate waiting in the cold during the winter.

If it's bullshit getting in, it's probably bullshit getting out. At least make sure you can take the girl out of the place.

If it's big club, and you have to wait in line, there's a good chance you will have little or no contact with hottest girls there.

The promoters that bring in the hotgirls have a locked system where they pay off modelling agencies. The models are essentially there to get guys in your position to wait on line and pay hundreds for a bottle of Vodka; they are sequestered away from the dance floor at the promoters table and will loose modelling gigs if they leave or go to the dance floor.

Your best bet is to get involved and become a promoter yourself or become a bartender, bouncer, manager, DJ, etc.

it's worth it when you know that club is good. also, you can always hit the streets to meet and bring some (hot) chicks to that club with you. i can't think of better way to skip the line

This. Clubs are not 'special' to me They only reason I go to them is because they're 'special' to most other people.

Yes, if you can run game in line.

99% of the time, the answer is no
1) pay the "cover" charge (slip the bouncer a 20/100..)
2) go to a different spot.

Clubs seem to be the only place where you can approach woman so you're in a way obligated to them.
Bars: everybody sits at their table.
Street: everybody has to get somewhere.

Here's something I stumbled upon by accident this weekend. Was in a long line for a club and wanted to pay the bouncer off to get in. I was expecting 20/head when he said 10/head. We paid and walked in. Went back later to smoke a cigarette outside and started chatting up a girl in line, told her I could get her in and introduced her to the bouncer. Went inside and when I saw her later that night she was friendly. Didn't go anywhere but at least it was easy as cake and gave me an intro.

If its more than a 5-10min wait its not worth it.

If there is a Line-up you got there to late and people are partying inside already. When a line up forms the club has its peak or the club runs shady shit by holding people back (which many do).

I always go early or get a advance ticket. If you know something is going to be the best party that night in town why would you not pre-plan ahead? The people whom put on that party put in the time to make things special so you should take some time to make sure you can guarantee you attend. Hell even just strait up cold-emailing/calling the promoters for the event is a lot better and has worked for me a few times, bullshit and say its a birthday and you need to ensure you get in.

Plus line-ups are always 80% dudes. The Women all got expedited entry or came early. So we thus always end up getting to places late and pay the price for it. Just from my days out West where you had venues all locked down I can't stand lining up (for long periods) you get no good from it. None. If the line-up is slower then the time it takes you to finish a smoke then bounce. Your time is precious so don't waste it by standing around like a Sheep or Cow to then turn around and PAY.

Just like fools whom wait in line at Restos. If the place takes Reservations and is busy every night take the 5mins to call them and arrange a time. Its not that serious. People would rather wait in line for a hour in the cold then do that little extra. Makes no sense.

You can make the same excuses at the club.

Clubs: everybody's in their own group, everybody's dancing with someone else, every guy a girl's talking to is her boyfriend, etc.

It doesn't matter. Approach at the bar, street, and club. I have the most success in sketchy dives where slutty binge drinking girls hangout.
