Met a couple cute ones the other night and supposed to meet up again in a couple nights. I think I'm getting somewhere with one but not much past flirting and light kino yet. Not really sure how fast to take it with these ones - I used to room with a guy from there before, and he always said they were kind of slower on the draw.

Haha good stuff man. I'm guessing you aren't in Ireland which is perfect cause Irish girls are very easy once they are abroad.

If you want supply me with more info like where you are based, what part of Ireland they are from or any info you have of them I can give you more specific advice.

My basic advice would be to go to a bar which is good but not too busy so you can hold their attention.

Plow them with drink and be as funny as possible.

Also Irish girls seem to have a fixed amount of times you must meet before they put out.

Most will be two times but a few can be three. So if things are going well but she won't come home it might take one more go.

It actually sounds like I've been playing it perfect, aside from maybe dwelling too much on whether I should push the kino a bit more. You almost described our first meeting perfectly, corner table and all.

We met in a bar while I was getting a little hair of the dog and it turned into an all-day affair. Had them laughing their asses off the whole day - I thrive on the sense of humor on people out of your country. Vibes with me perfectly.

As an Irish guy, I do my best to have nothing to do with Irish women. I am not attracted to them physically and in many, many cases, I do not find their attitudes or personalities too beguiling either. However, if you really must, I can confirm that Irish women will almost chase after obviously foreign guys in Ireland (and ignore the local guys if foreign guys are an option). Maybe you guys will enjoy them more than I ever did.

Hi pal, I am also from ireland originally, my best advise would be get the facebook of the one you like and don't spend too much more time with the group. Try and set up a date with the cute one and see what happens from there.

Thing is pal these chics will use you as house jester, banter partner for ages and still not put out, so unless you are having a great time don't waste to much time on this.

Once your on a date with one its just standard game, might take a a date or 2 so don't sweat on that but the 3 date rule is generally adhered too.

Sounds like you don't have a clue what you're talking about. Plenty of Irish guys in good shape, our food culture is pretty decent and viagra isn't that common especially amongst young people. Irish girls are easy abroad because they are self conscious about how they compare to foreign girls and feel like they won't be judged as much for slutting it up as they are back home.

the 'crappy food' point is true, in fairness
although admittedly it has improved in recent years, especially in the cities
but up until ten years ago, the standard of food in this country was shockingly poor and i think that, along with the lack of sunshine here, helped cement our position as one of the unhealthiest and least photogenic countries in europe - that said, the situation is improving now thanks to better food and more people exercising and taking an interest in their health

as for irish women, well they're often good fun, but they're not particularly feminine or sexy, and the more attractive ones tend to have the 'princess' attitude more often than not, so i wouldn't waste too much time on them
although as another poster pointed out, the ones that travel are worth more of your time

Id be very sceptical of that article.

While it may be true it is definitely not the norm. Like any western country some of us are in bad physical shape but I would say that per average Ireland has a higher percentage of guys with good game and in good shape then similar countries. That just my opinion though and I did have a large group of cool friends and went to a sports university so it might be baised. As for Irish girls ya they are not too flash. Some gems but mostly overrate themselves and not great in bed.

Been meaning to come back in here and give an update.

Nothing special. We actually stood each other up that weekend. I headed an hour north the night before and ended up sticking around up that way for the weekend - met up with NorCal OG for some brews, met up with an old friend for some brews, and then at that point there was no freeway driving for me. Instead I met up with OG again later that night at another bar up there.

I sent them a Facebook message anyways to see what was up and they were caught up with some other party and weren't going to make it down into town either, so no worries.

A few days later one sent me a message and said they were stopping by the bar for a drink or two and then hitting the road again if I wanted to come meet up with them. I was busy and said I might stop by if I had time but never did - they were on the way out of town and it was daytime, and I had work to get done, so I don't think missing out on the drink was a huge loss.

At any rate, thanks for the intel and will pocket the knowledge away for my next run-in with Irish gals. Hopefully next time I'll have better logistics, time, or motivation. Got them on Facebook so could be a good connection for getting shown around if I ever make it out that way.

I still contend that Belfast is a goldmine. Unfortunately I went there to visit a girl, and rented a car to tour the countryside. The guys there were dressed European, and I stood out with a Harley jacket and cowboy boots. Chicks would blatantly stare at me with my jealous ex attached to my arm. And a Southern accent. Forget it.
