Which place would be better for clubbing (western style hip hop and r&b) and getting ONS's?

You didnt answer his question but I would suspect Japan would be better for what he is looking, based on all the info in the forum.

Before answering your question you need to provide more info about you if you want a relevant answer. Are you white, black, latino or asian? What is your budget? Do you speak any chinese or japanese?

If your black, have style and cash then Tokyo will be very good to you. From what ive read, heard and seen when i went to Tokyo, black guys with style ansmd cash as it is expensive do very well indeed there. If youre white, have cash and style then you will also do great with girls there specially in the Roppongi area as they tend to speak english. But to get the real stunners in Tokyo you
need to speak the lingo. Get your logistics right since Tokyo is huge and trains stop at midnigh and cabs are expensive.

No idea on Shanghai as i havent been yet but i heard goomd things about it. My guess is just like Tokyo, you'd need a healthy budget, good style and good logistics to get some action. To get the highest talent you would need some decent chinese. Also the length of time you'd stay is going to matter.

Two totally different places, although you can find a more "American" scene in Shanghai.

Tokyo beats to its own drum. Period.

In Shanghai there are a lot of ABC dudes (American Born Chinese) that have went to China to take advantage of the economy and the women. They are aggressive, speak the lingo, have style and swagger and usually hang out in the hip hop scene.

Normally I would say Tokyo, as I have more experience there. But last time circumstances had it raining in Shanghai for me, which would give Shanghai the edge (although next time around this might not necessarily be the case).

I like Japanese women better though. Hot Chinese women are a "special" breed. Dont confuse "hot" with "cute".

VP,

I'm white and will be on a normal budget. Will get a decent hotel room and go to the club and have some beers and try to secure a ONS. Do not speak the lingo. Btw how much does a decent room with a bed and shower cost in Tokyo near the nightlife?

What I am getting at guys is which place has easier women that frequent hip hop / r&b clubs.

I am leaning towards Shanghai as I think I might be at a disadvantage in Tokyo with the women there preferring black guys in those establishments.

interesting; by that do you mean china has cuties but a lack of hot/sexy girls? (been to tokyo too, and ya there's some real sexy girls there)

BTW OP personally I would goto the place that appeals most / feels like the place you wanna have an adventure in. Sounds like there's not a huge difference in difficulty of getting laid (i.e. both cities: easy average-to-cute girls in the right places, & a challenge to get at the hotter ones)

China is easier than Japan, not only because China on average is still a third-world-like country, while Japan isn't, but also because China was traditionally exposed to invaders and wild foreign hordes, while Japan was largely insulated.

Women differences between the two:

Tokyo, positive:

- Japanese are cleaner (better personal hygiene),
- Much, much, much more stylish/better dressed (in fact probably the best dressed women in the world)
- More submissive, kinkier.

Tokyo, negative:

- Japanese are shorter,
- Have crooked legs (like they've ridden horses all their lives),
- Have wider noses,
- More superficial/infatuated with pop-culture.

Shanghai, positive:

- Chinese are taller,
- Have straight legs,
- Have narrower noses,
- And because they are taller, have straight legs, and narrower noses body-wise they look more western than the Japanese,
- More grounded in real-world (more common-sensical)

Other differences:

Tokyo: People are less warm, in general more rabid nationalists, and at best don't necessarily like foreigners. That said, certain parts of Tokyo and certain population of wannabe trendy Japanese chicks are well open to blacks and hispanics even though society as a whole is less acceptable.

As a city, Tokyo offers a lot more choices of all sorts. It's totally immersive.

Shanghai: People are friendlier, in general less of nationalists (but perhaps more patriots), and generally are curious about foreigners. That said, the Chinese in general are more openly discriminatory against blacks and hispanics. So I'd say there's less physical play space for those in Shanghai.

As a city, Shanghai is bunch of tall buildings recently built, with a strong whiff of provincialism all over it. It simply can't compare to Tokyo in any way. It also has dirtier air quality, and more questionable kitchen/food practices than Tokyo.

Preliminary verdict:

Even though many westerners prefer Japanese women, I suspect much of that preference is due to Japanese girls' impeccable fashion style and cute mannerism, and not just pure physical attributes. For me, between the naked Chinese and Japanese girl, in most cases I'd choose a Chinese. And Chinese women are much easier to deal with.

Hence, if notch count and/or sex alone is paramount to my mission I'd choose Shanghai.

However, if it's the overall experience I am looking for, than I'd choose Tokyo.

Also,

Shorter stay (a few days): Shanghai

Longer stay (a few weeks to months): Tokyo

Smaller budget: Shanghai

Bigger budget: Tokyo

Better for clubbing: Tokyo

Final verdict

Tokyo 4 pts.

Shanghai 3 pts.

I don't know if the short / straight legs was a joke or not. But I'd say the women are on average are around 5'3 - 5'6 and there are some Japanese women who are TALL I tend to see 1 or 2 every other time I go out.

OK, the Chinese in the south are definitely shorter from their norther sisters, but the northern more than make up for it.

Anyway, forget about the height (which can be clouded by perception and geo-variables), the leg thing difference is objective.

Japanese girls have bow legs

and those are ugly legs comparing to any Chinese legs.

True dat.

Also, J-girls have uglier teeth, and are generally either really cute, or very ugly. In China there's more even-ness in looks.
