I am sure there has to be plenty of former or current wrestling fans on this forum ? I was on youtube the other day watching some old videos and I forgot how much I used to love wrestling. I think it peaked in the late 90's early 2000's when the WWE and WCW were going head to head.

Some of my all time fav's were mostly in wolf pac like Scott Hall, Scott Steiner and Buff Bagwell. I am amazed big poppa pump is still alive and hasn't died of steroid abuse or gone nuts like Chris Benoit. After watching some of the clips of his interviews I don't think we are far off from seeing him walking into a post office with a gun.

I still watch wrestlemania 3 from time to time. Can't beat Hogan vs Andre the giant in front of 100,000 people.

Oh the nostalgia. Razor Ramon ("ey yo chico"), Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff, Roddy Piper. The tag team of Nikolai Volkoff and the Iron Sheik ("Russia #1, Iran #1, American hat phooey!"). I used to be so into it. Got back into in grad school during the Rock's heyday.

Ravishing Rick Rude was another good one. Hit the music!

The App store has WWF (WWE) app that has all the old wrestlers in it.

Shawn Michaels - I like his swag

Bret Hart - for wrestling skill and going toe to toe against guys bigger than him. To 7-foot Diesel: "I'll cut you down, to my size"

I also didn't appreciate the villains till now, they did a great job making me hate their characters:

Ravishing Rick Rude - My school friends and I would imitate his hip roll. He actually did a great job making me hate his character.
I read somewhere that he carried most of his matches with Ultimate Warrior. Wished he won the WWF champ title.

The Quebecers tag team - I like their team-based moves esp. when Jacques would body slam his partner Pierre onto an opponent lying on the mat.

I remember the Undertaker actually scaring me.

Hogan? Warrior? Yes, I was a fan but I don't remember them as fondly as the wrestlers above.

Old school cheesy wrestlers like jake the snake, doink the clown and of course Razor Ramon. He used to flick a toothpick at his opponent and did a bad scarface accent. Classic.

I was just thinking about this the other day. Notice how all the best wrestlers (rock, undertaker, stone cold, triple h) are mojor alphas. Thats why everybody loves them. Even if they are heel they have the halo effect. Also, it is the perfect example of how a regular person can adopt an "alpha mentality " and slowly they burn that persona into their subconscious and alas, they become an alpha in real life.

Undertaker and Eddie Guerrero were my personal favorite.

Can't beat Stone Cold, that feud with Mr McMahon in the attitude era was such classic, well made television. Even though I grew out of it I still catch wwe on tv every so often. Its sad to see how garbage it is these days.

When we were kids my brother and I used to watch WWF every week faithfully. My favorite wrestler was always Shawn Michaels. I just thought he was the shit. I hated Stone Cold. Respected Undertaker and Kane. Especially my brother and I liked crazy shit like barbed wire matches, coffin matches, steel cage matches, shit like that.

I attended WWE RAW live a couple of months ago. Had great seats and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, since I'm 24 yrs. old, watched that shit as a kid, but had never seen it live before.

I started watching wrestling again after seeing RAW. It was cool to see that The Big Show, who debuted in 1995, is still wrestling. Mick Foley and Bret Hart made appearances recently too.
