And his name is Miguel. Been listening to his newest Kaleidoscope album quite a bit and I'm digging it.

Torrent is floating around Pirate Bay.

But he did make the song quickie
" Mami you looking like I'm just another guy
That came to check you
That came to wreck you
No disrespect but mami that's correct
cause...
What's in them jeans just got my mind
hectic"

at least he gets down to business

Nah no one can be as sinister and grimy as Abel. All these other guys are just R&B. But tha'ts just my opinion [Image: smile.gif]

This is his latest collab with Wiz Kahlifa. Kills Wiz on his own track.

Don't know if Miguel is gay but with tracks like "Pussy is mine" I don't get that feeling. On the other hand, Frank Ocean's "Forest Gump" track does raise my eyebrow.

Not bad, though I like The Weeknd better. Miguel is up on spotify too so you can listen for free and he still gets paid.

Frank Ocean is dope, even if he does suck cock. The music is good.

There's a lot of rumors that Trey Songz is at least bi and half his songs are about fucking broads.

A lot of people think that the entire R&B industry is filled with homo's.
Not sure if this was proven fake or not, but it's pretty telling.

For the record..I never said anything about them not being good artist and I dont have anything against gays.
I've met some pretty alpha gays.
But sometimes those artist make songs that are a little suspect.

Either way..theyre rich an im not

Why people begin so PC in this thread.

Art is art that is agreed but I can't help but laugh at dudes whom front on a persona to make cash but live that double life. It affects their craft Luther Vandross whole career he made love songs about females for which he never cared for. You look at his old Videos and dude was mad awkward with females he had to interact with. It changes the dynamic of the art for sure because for a music fan you relate, link, identify sometimes to peoples crafts/art. If somebody is singing about a messy situation about a broad he had and you can relate that's a link.

Frank Ocean is mad talented and is a rare gem in the business but I can't take him in the same way now that I know he's talking about Joe in his music and not Jane. But to give him the benefit of the doubt him coming clean and open at least gives him the freedom to express himself in his craft.

But you can never be critical of that because many others in different styles of music, especially Black American music are guilty of the same thing. How many rappers bullshit about their money or dealings with the law. Same type of thing.

There's low key rumblings round Toronto that The Weekend a homo/Bi. Friend from class worked with him at American Apparel and she full blown Lesbo and got that vibe from him. Also these girls from Brampton I was chilling with, one of their girls and her crew parties with The Weekend and his posse, aside the fact that they charged them to hang out with them lmao. Weekend was the only dude whom did not hit, all his homies ran through all the bitches but he kept his pipe clean. This was before he exploded big big time but was still well known underground. So I have no ideal if dude was just being strait edge of he was waiting for Escobar when he got home.

Heard this too.. Either way I've learn to just "believe" in the "image the artist sells." Allows me to enjoy the music more that way.

Listening to Kaleidoscope Dream right now.

Great album, almost as good as House of Balloons...

Funny story...I used to hang out with Abel a lot before his music career got off the ground. Definitely NOT homo or bi. He did have a huge crush on a chick friend of mine who is cute but not really attractive and has a wack pear shaped body. A lot of the dudes in his XO crew are super alpha, and love nasty hood rats, but Abel himself is a super laid back, soft spoken nice guy. Last time I saw him, even after all three mixtapes had came out, he was in an LTR and wouldn't fuck with any of the groupies.

As far as the substance abuse goes, that shit is all real. I've seen him and his buddies buy a jug of Carlo Rossi, drop five beans inside and drink the whole thing. On a Tuesday night.

Hit me up on PM, all I can say is after knowing Abel and seeing him get famous, celebrity worship is the fucking weirdest thing ever. I go and read fan blogs that try and dig into the meaning of his songs and speculate on his life and shit and I can't help but laugh. I remember when those guys lived in a derelict shotgun rental (the inspiration for "Loft Music", "two floor loft in the middle of the city...") and were so poor the ate ramen that they stole from convenience stores. You see that these people are human and have their own hopes, dreams, aspirations, insecurities etc despite the demi-god status they are given by the media and fans.

When I hung out with Abel and hs boys after all three mixtapes came out, nothing had really changed. Even though I was the gawky white kid in a crowd of ratchet groupies and sketchy gangster hangers-on dudes, Abel and the XO boys were always cool, still answered my calls, invited me out to parties where I really had no place being. I have a lot of respect for them. A lot of other celebrities seem to be total asswipes based on anecdotes I've heard. Not these guys.

Frank Ocean had released very little official music of his own and had not even released an album or received much mainstream success before he voluntarily admitted to being bisexual. Some of his songs are obviously about a man and others are obviously about a woman. I agree that it's lame when an artist portrays themselves as someone they are not to sell records but Frank Ocean never did that so when you say things like "you can't take him in the same way now that I know he's talking about Joe in his music and not Jane" it comes off as homophobic.

Only listened to it once so far, but the Michael Jackson influence seems stronger than ever!
