Holy shit man that sounds awesome! Next time you're planning a trip to the pacific coast of Colombia or Mexico, let me know, you're obviously well experienced in this and I really enjoy learning from guys who know what they're doing. I usually go alone and usually don't plan too much, I just show up and see what happens, sometimes it works out well but other times not so much like when I flew to Apartado from Medellin, then took a bus to Necocli to get on a boat to Capurgana (up where el Choco and Antioquia meet, the Darien Gap) only to realize that I missed it and there wasn't another boat for two days so I didn't go. The same thing happened once in Buenaventura, I missed the boat and had to stay there, which despite it's bad reputation, can be a fun city if you're into the Afro-Colombian/Pacific vibe, which it sounds like you are.

This is the type of traveling I want to do more of in the future instead of chasing pussy in bars and clubs.

Moose meat is fucking fantastic Scotian! 95% of the meat I eat here in Estonia is Moose, Roe Buck. I cant barely eat the store baught crap anymore. Congrats on the Moose kill! Have you ever tried Bowhunting? Spearfishing?

How do you blot out your face on the pics?

Another place on my fishing radar is the cape verde islands. Looks to be alot like the pacific of colombia in context to remote off the path fishing adventure. Lots of pelagic species to hunt.

I tried spear fishing twice but it was random and I wasn't with someone who knew what they were doing. Once in Ocho Rios Jamaica but I didn't see anything and the spear was pretty shitty, did manage to catch a couple of small snappers by hand though. Another time was back home in Nova Scotia, Canada I went diving in a salt water lake with my buddy who is a Navy diver, we didn't see any fish either but did find an oyster bed, which we raided. The scallop diving is really good there too. I have a full dry suit with regulator, fins, etc and am an advanced PADI diver but only have about 40 dives under my belt. Free diving is something I would definitely try out, bow hunting too but I'm going to focus on hunting with a rifle in the near future.

For the photos I just marked them up within photos on the Iphone, there's an edit option, then uploaded them on Tinypic.
