Further evidence, if any were needed, that political correct feminism is out of control.

This is the offending cover.

Four domestic rights and women's advocacy groups have asked Conde Nast to pull the new Vogue International cover from its shelves. Organization leaders charge that the image of model Stephanie Seymour, appearing to be choked by a lover, glorifies violence as an act of love.

I have to say, Stephanie Seymour looks great, though lighting and photoshop are quite helpful.

I agree it should be pulled.

That guy is holding her throat all wrong and he hasn't even ripped her blouse open. Pathetic.

I don't know, he is subtly copping a feel...given him some props for that.

Glad to see they were able to put down "Fifty shades of grey" long enough to complain about this glorifying violence.

The international editions of mags have always been bolder (like putting more women of color on the cover), so it's bullshit that they're going after this now. And honestly, he's not choking her at all - his thumb is extended, and his fingers aren't closed tightly around her throat.

"The best kind of pride is that which compels a man to do his best when no one is watching."

Why are women's groups against glorifying sexual violence?

It's clearly not about promoting sex that is enjoyable for both consenting adults. Women's rights groups are keenly aware that many women enjoy such sex, and find it glorious.

It's about promoting womens power, even if it means having OTHER women forgo their own sexual satisfaction, in the name of the cause.

It has nothing to do with protecting women from violence at all. It has everything to do with an agenda of the woman wearing the pants in the house, like a big fat bossy dike bitch.
