bromelain is the stem in the pineapple alot of people throw it away and dont eat it. i usually blend the entire pineapple with stem in a blender then just drink it. the stem has some of the best nutrients. basically bromelain can be purchased in capsule form or consumed with pineapple. i cant speak for a headache but any type of body or joint ache it can help especially when you take it on an empty stomach.
