Recommendations for a New City to Stay in Brazil.

Unfortunately, could not work things out to go to Poland, so Im heading back this fall, to my favourite latin american destination: Brazil. Haven´t seen many posts about Brazil lately. Hopefully, it is not because of a high degree of deterioration in the last year or 2. Seems like Eastern Europe, FSU and Russia are all the rave now.
The cities that I have stayed more than 2 weeks in Brazil are: Belo Horizonte, Rio, Sao Paulo, Recife, Joao Pessoa, Brasilia. My younger brother is coming along and it is his first visit to Brazil. So I have to cater a bit to his needs: He just recently started studying portuguese, though he speaks spanish really well. We have 3 months to hit 3 different cities.
So with that in mind I decided to start out with Brasilia. Didnt particularly like the city and the girls are average for Brazil, but I would highly recommend it, for those looking for their flag and to bang a high quantity of decent looking girls. You will meet some chicks who will speak decent english or spanish, but nowhere near the amount you will find in Rio or Sao Paulo. But most important is that their attitude, especially towards foreigners, is the best Ive felt in Brazil. You see relatively few foreigners there, except for diplomats and rich businessmen.....so few Brasilia girls have met a foreigner and thus your exotic factor will be relatively high. You can test that on badoo: the response rate is very good. Also many of the girls come from other provinces to work (thus many live alone). So to help out my brother and to bang as many garotas as possible, I decided on Brasilia first. I did quite well my first time there, so I am confident about my decision.
The 2nd city I picked was Natal (in the Northeast). I spent a weekend there, when I stayed 2 months in Joao Pessoa. It seemed like a larger, more modern, touristy version of JP, that was only 2 hours away. The quality of the women was very similar. So since I really enjoyed my stay in Joao Pessoa, it was a no brainer to try a similar city that has more women available. Im not sure that Natal being more touristy will make it more fun or more difficult. I will have to find out and will post a data sheet in 3 months.
Now I have to choose a 3rd city and wanted to see if any forum members have any good suggestions. I pretty muck know the deal about all the areas of Brazil, but hopefully some new info or wisdom from a Brazil expert will help me choose. Also, I hope to choose a city I havent gone to.
Manaus is out of the question, since I hate jungle weather and I will be heading to a pussy paradise (The Dominican Republic) 1 month after. The southern and more European parts of Brazil intrigue me, but as a Latino American I have to be honest with myself and admit that I probably wont do as well in that area. Though, If someone of my background has done well down there.....I would love to hear about it. Vitoria and other cities in Minas Gerais are out of the question because, even in Belo Horizonte, I found the girls to be a bit conservative and difficult to bang.
Now, the 2 cities Im considering the most are Goiania and Porto Alegre. We have rather little information about these 2 cities, but from what we have, it seems the girls there are hot. The only reason I did not go to Goiania, last time, is that it was extremely difficult to find a furnished apartment and the girls seemed rather unfriendly and bitchy, from talking to them on Badoo. They seemed like the complete opposite of the girls from Brasilia. As to Porto Alegre, I will start pipelining girls there when I get to Brazil and see about furnished apartments there. If I see positive reactions from the girls from PA that is probably where I,m headed, unless someone can suggest a better city.

I'm brazillian and know all of the major cities, so feel free to ask me anything.

My default advice is to go South because quality is uncomparable and more than offsets the extra effort required to bang. Race does play a role, but I wouldn't let this rule out all the other factors.

If you're happy with what you found in places like João Pessoa and Natal, maybe the best next stop is Fortaleza, which is not famous for great talent [Roosh said girls are bulky, but I think it is more of first impression thing], but is bigger, more cosmopolite and has better logistics.

Speaking of which: how the hell did you like Brasília, a place where you're totally FUGAZI without a car and prices are high as hell [including hotels]? I'd like to know that before telling you where I think you really should go next. For the time being, I'd pick Goiânia, 'cause it seems to match your interests better than Porto Alegre, it has a good number of girls and I don't see how they can be harder to catch than Brasília, RJ, SP or BH...

Thanks Dioggo. Any information and advice will be truly appreciated. As I said, I didnt like Brasilia as a city per se. But I will give you some info, so you can understand how I enjoyed my stay there.
First, I agree with you that not having a car there is a major impediment. The way I got around this problem was to rent a centralized furnished suite in "el Plano Piloto". The key is being walking distance or a short taxi ride away from the 2 main shopping malls: Patio Brasil and Brasilia Shopping; which are both close to each other and in the center of el Plano Piloto. You can set up many lunch time, afternoon and even night time dates, since most girls dont have a probably going there.....alot of them work or live in el Plano Piloto. The girls who live in the satellite cities and suburbs can take the metro, which has the last station very near these 2 malls. So meeting girls was not as much of a problem as I thought it would be. Furthermore, half the girls I banged there had their own cars, so a lot them offered to pick me up at my place. Brasilia girls are cool that way and aren´t very weary of foreigners or strangers, like in other brazilian cities. I even stayed my last 3 days at a girls apartment, who I had met just once on a coffee date. In Brasilia, you have to rely more on Internet and mall game, but since girls are friendly, it aint hard setting up dates. And they are mostly DTF by the 2nd date.
My original plan was to head to Goiania, which is only an hour and a half way. I had heard that it had some of the best talent in Brazil, so I put an equal amount of effort to get girls´phone numbers through the net. So imagine my surprise, when Im getting plenty of numbers from cute girls in Brasilia and banging them pretty easily, while the girls online in Goainia were bitchy, unfriendly, few gave out their numbers and didnt give a rat´s ass or have any curiousity about me being a foreigner. Also, it was harder to find an affordable furnished apartment in Goainia(lot less supply than in Brasilia) and my experience in Belo Horizonte taught me that to bang brazilian girls regularly, you need a centralized furnished apartment and not a room in a hotel or poussada. The price of my furnished suite in Brasilia was less than what I paid for my room in the poussada in Belo Horizonte and less than the few I saw online in Goiania. Food and transportation costs were similar to what I encountered in Belo Horizonte and Rio, which are all expensive cities. So I didnt feel that Brasilia was that much more expensive than other cities I had been to.
So I kind of get the feeling that Goiania girls are similar in attitude to girls in Vitoria and Minas Gerais. In other words there is a lot of eye candy, but it will be difficult as hell to bang hotties, in just one month´s time. I hope to be wrong about this because I still want to give Goiania a go. I will try pipelining Goainia girls, when I am in Brasilia, and if things change this time....i will head over there. I just dont want another Bucaramanga, Colombia 2nd tier city experience. You can read the data sheet I posted of the city.
Now Diogo there is Porto Alegre thread, posted awhile ago, that seems pretty positive. So that is why Im considering it also. Fortaleza is not an option because, from everything I heard in the Northeast, Natal and Joao Pessoa have better quality girls and their logistics and beaches are better. Maybe their is a city I am missing like a Joinville, etc. Also why do you think Goainia would be better than Porto Alegre?

It's just more similar to the other main cities in the way people behave, while the South is different and would require you to adapt your game.

Man, your Brasília days were indeed uncommon. You can run day game and bang a lot, but those girls wouldn't have cars nor be cute. You certainly won't find much of this anywhere else, so basically I would tell you to go back there if you got to crack the code.

Anyway, if you're talking about low-end market and day game you should avoid all the Northeast, including Fortaleza [which is a pitty: night game has many options, cute and easygoing girls, zero levels of cockblocking...] and dive into social networks. The girls you'll be able to push in brick-and-mortar venues will also give a good response online. Have you heard of Orkut?

Try your best online and go to the place with the best results. Again, of the two options, my bet is Goiânia 'cause day game in Porto Alegre would not work well.

Thanks again Diogo. Im certain if I was Brazilian, I would not go to Brasilia for banging. But I think there are 3 non brazilian froum members ( 1 ex member and myself included) who have gone there and did well. Not with 9 or 10s but certainly quality chicks. It is just the vibe you get as a foreigner, from the girls there, is very positive. This is also true in most of the Northeast.
So that is what I am getting at. I think as a foreigner you have to look for the cities that give you the most positive vibes, especially from the girls. So that is why I would recommend Brasilia to a foreigner, but not to a Brazilian who has never been there.
As to going to the South, I can adjust my game either by trial and error or by asking a Brazilian native player like yourself, so I dont see that as a problem. Now a few question :how exactly would I have to change my game in the South? I know the girls will be hotter and harder, but what would be your advice in terms of doing well with them. Have you been to Porto Alegre and Goainia? And if you have, how were your results over there?
By the way my portuguese is fluent and until they hear my accent most people over there assume Im Brazilian.

I lived in PoA for 6 months. Night game would be the same all over the country, but day game would probably work better in Goiânia, because people are less reluctant to talk to strangers. On the other hand, I guess it's more likely to find English speakers in PoA. Could you try both? If you have some spare time, that would be useful for long run plans, cos it would give you some notion of the country as a whole. They're both cities where it's easy to move around and relatively cheap.

As for Joinville, it's too small a city to get any traction. Stay in the capitals.

What about Curitiba? It doesn't get much love on this forum for some reason, but I believe it's comparable to Porto Alegre in size and the type of women it has (i.e., lighter skin). Also, it's meant to be the most liveable city in Brazil and has the best public transportation system in the country. Worth looking into, at least. I haven't been there but am very curious to check it out.

Diogo I will probably try Porto Alegre the last month of my 3 month stay, since I just checked Wikipedia, and from October to December it rains like crazy in Goainia. Nothing like rain to ruin a stay in a city. I will probably try a 3 or 4 day trip to Goainia when Im staying in Brasilia.
As for Curitiba, it was on my list since my first trip to Brazil. But I kept reading that the people were the coldest and least friendly in Brazil, at least at the beginning. So as much as it looks like a nice and organized city, it didnt sound like it would make me happy.

Is it just me or has interest in Brazil diminished quite a bit the last year or two? I will certainly write regular reports and keep you guys updated, as to whether there have been changes since I last went there. I have to admit I am not so psyched about going, compared to the other past times. I think all those Eastern European threads and posts have changed our outlooks a bit. Hopefully this trip will renew my passion for Brazil and some of that will rub off on fellow forum members.

Its probably not talked about much because of the doubling in cost for us to travel down there. It used to be 4 to 1. Hell, when I went last year it was 1.5r=1d. Now its a little more than 2 to 1 so I'm hoping it'll get a little better before April when I get a chance to go back down and drop some more money into my investments. Its just not as economical for some like DR or other places.

Personally I need to find a Portuguese tutor near Newark so I can work on my Portuguese. Pimsleur and Rosetta stone are only going to get me so far.

True story: rents, hotels and food are going up nonstop. But I wouldn't say westernization could do make such a difference in so short a time lapse. If you liked it, you're gonna find it pretty much the same, but spend some more.

Curitiba: great city, great logistics, excelente women. That would be my number one recomendation for gringos, but I'm talking about night game, not day game. It changes matters a lot.

My boy that perma-moved down to Bahia and my accountant that goes down once a month to see his son have been talking about hitting up Fortelezza for a while now. It's nice to have some other options to have them look into for my next trip.

I'm avoiding Rio like the fucking plague between 2014-2017 till the economy settles after all that olympics and World cup tourist money dries up.

Goiania is indeed a good option but I would also suggest the following cities:
- Cuiaba, good interior city in Mato Grosso. Met a few guys and girls from there and they've all been very friendly and gave a lot of praise about Cuiaba. Yes it gets hot as hell but girls are hot, speak english and it's a fairly developed and safe city.
- Pick any 2nd tier city in the interior of SP or Minas and you couldn't go wrong: sexy, beautiful, friendly girls, not too expensive and yet still within driving distance to BH or SP and easy short flight to a beach if you get bored.

Oh and I would avoid Curitiba, yes there are a lot of eye candy but they are cold and unless you get into a social circle, it'd be very hard to get in with a quality girl. Plus it get fairly cold in the winter.

Boa sorte amigo.

Thanks VP, Cuiaba in Matto Grosso seems like a decent option also. The point of this trip is trying to reignite the fire, that we all felt when we first went or heard of Brazil. And I agree with some posters, that I sure aint going to Rio or Sao Paulo to do that. Sao Paulo, mainly because it is too big for even a 3 month stay and Rio for the obvious reasons. The South will always be difficult, so it us up to the few brazilian travelers left to try and find a hidden gems in other areas.

I've noticed the same thing. I think it's because Brazil is making a lot of progress. This progress naturally spells the end of the good times for guys like us. Fortunately though, all the cities in Brazil don't suffer from the ills that we associate with the West. The North of Brazil will always be a little fucked up, and the interior states will always be friendly to foreigners. But as the wallets and waistlines expand in the main cities, the country will seem less attractive from the outside. Plenty of untapped resources still remain there though.

I'll chime in and say that you should go to Goiania. I've never been, but have heard some positive reports.

I would have liked to....but in October, November and December it rains cat and dogs over there. Nothing like a ton of rain to spoil the mood of the girls. But if my love for Brazil comes back, I will definitely head to Goiania, Cuiaba, Matto Grosso next year. This time I will concentrate more on the Northeast. The weather is gorgeous there during these months (pure sun) and there arent alot of tourists. Then the next time..explore the interior. From now on it is 2nd tier, all the way for me in Brazil.
