From reading threads like this, I've concluded that men appreciate muscles and style far more then women.

Men appreciate muscles more than women. Women appreciate style far more then men. I put a lot of effort into my style so I get complimented on it all the time, almost exclusively by women. Since I started lifting however, male friends notice and comment on the improvements in my physique much more often than female friends do.

So I am pretty thin. 127 pounds 5'11. I havent really been able to lift all my life becuase of bad scoliosis. Developed my look around it. I may be one of those "hip" skinny guys you guys were talking about earlier. Anyways, started lifting like 3 months ago but slowly becuase I have to develop muscles that I've substituted for years and I need an hour of stretching per work out. Should be able to knock out my pain from scoliosis soon though (its been 4 years of pain). Gained 5 pounds of muscle this far(my average weight was 122 a few months ago). It feels much better. Seen a noticable change in girls attitudes and thats only 5 pounds in. I dont want to get big though. Just really defined. I plan stopping bulking when I hit 140 because then my clothes won'f fit and it wouldn't suit my personality/image. Any advice?

Id keep lifting in till u were at least 160. U probably have a distorted body image at the moment because I guarantee u will think u only look normal once you reach 160lb. Just buy new clothes, not a big deal...

I've been real skinny my entire life. Cross country runner and all that, so very fit but not noticeable right off the bat. I do ok, but definitely more from daygame than night game.

In the past year I've stopped the distance running and gone from 130 to 150 lbs. Honestly, it's not that noticeable until I take off my shirt, but I do have more confidence just from the act of setting a goal to gain weight and then reaching that goal.

That being said, gaining weight was very hard for me and forced me to eliminate nights out/ stop drinking because I lose any and all appetite when I'm hung over and/or tired.

But seriously, fake it 'til you make it. I don't like the attitude of 'if i had more _____, i would get more _______.' Weighing a certain amount doesn't entitle you to anything, and you'll find new sticking points once you get there.

This probably makes me sound like an idiot, but some days i look in the mirror and run through the motions of having actually reached a goal... 'ok, i just tipped 180 on the scale, now I'm going to act like how I think a 180 pound man should act'...and I realize that the goal is arbitrary, the attitude starts now, today, and that has helped me keep things in perspective and move forward

5'7 163lbs South Beach body type, somehow I do really well with women taller than me.
Women always tell me to try and stay this size because any more muscle mass wouldn't be as attractive.
Thin indeed gives you a more youthful look especially us guys who's weight goes directly to stomach and face area.

You're right. I realized this this weekend. Both me and my cousin have the same body type but I saw him for the first time in four years. He is still "skinny" but has much more weight on me 145 at 5'7. His brother is 190 at 5'10 which made both of us look skinny.

Hitting the gym and focusing on your diet is a great hobby to have, but at the same time game the hell out of girls and the ones who dig skinny dudes will be drawn to you. I've seen that girls have a type, and within a few seconds they know you're it or not. Feel the vibe out quickly and proceed accordingly.

Also use the rest of your tool book to your advantage: style, suits, status and charm.

I am one of the skinner guys in my workplace and amongst friends
Recently turned 40, circa 7.9% body fat and that's with only doing sporadic bouts of intense cardio
I have just started hitting the gym with weights, so will see how that affects matters but am already starting to get more definition, after only a few sessions
Until recent years when I discovered Roosh, Heartiste, etc, my form with women was shocking, I was in total beta-land
Now things are better, I don't always pull when I go out, but then am not always looking to pull (have a gf at the moment)
There's no doubt that my success with women is at least 50% down to my improved self esteem and internal confidence, the other 50% I would put down to style, humour, etc all of which is improving thanks to RVF et al

2pac was only 5'9 and said he was 165 in a song, but I suspect a lot less. He was a small guy. I heard he was beta and had trouble with the girls.

Screwston-
Here are far worse things than being skinny.

Fatness is the worse.

How many girls dig fat guys vs. muscular or thin???

One thing skinny guys dont consider when being intimidated by fat or muscular dudes is the speed and endurance advantag they have.

It's like a tall skinny friend of mine says on machismo and bigger guys- they have eyes throats and nuts and I will attack all of those in a fight. This guy loves to hit people innthe throat and it stops them instantly.'learnnhow to fight dirty and quit worrying about all that machismo ego crap a lot if bullies project. Personally I've never understood why some guys try to act all bad in the club in America because with all these on edge people out here strapped up with pieces- seeking out trouble is not too smart in America bcuz people here do that crazy ass gun play-'its sick but its the reality of he street watch the late night news in any major city in the US and my point is proven- be polite carry on peacefully and stay strapped.

^Tried and failed to comprehend this last post. Jesus.

Anyway I'm a bit over 6'0 and 150 lbs right now (never been above 155). Definitely on the skinny side for my height.

I think my height gets me a lot of instant attraction, but I'm still on a mission to bulk up to 170-180. Doing it more as a fun personal experiment than for the ladies, but it definitely wouldn't hurt to have girls mirin' my aesthetics from the outset.

Quote from Book of Pook:

"155

I started out around 155 pounds at 6?3 height. This meant that I was very skinny. I was also considered a nice looking guy. Women loved me being tall.

At this point, I had to deal with a lot of fat chicks hitting on me. These girls were BIG and I wanted nothing to do with them. Ugly girls also would come to me. This was me not doing anything. This was what my body was attracting all alone. If I wanted to get a cuter girl, I had to work for it.

I have problems talking to women, not because I am scared or boring, but because I sense the women think I am ?below? them. And the truth is that they do.

I date average women.

165

Already, things have changed. The fat/ugly women still go for me but they don?t think I?m as easy. They want to enter oneitis with me. The ?unworthy? girls category would now all be staring at me. To the beautiful women, I?m just a typical guy. Cute girls now enjoy talking to me.

I still date average women and now some cute women

175

?You are looking very good,? my older female manager told me. The fat/ugly women no longer hit on me (thank goodness!) and people (out of the blue) are asking why I don?t have a girlfriend. Average girls are beginning to stare.

I date only cute women with some very attractive ones mixed in.

185

Average girls are now hitting on me. Very attractive women are checking me out.

At this stage, every woman is happy to talk to me. They all secretly wonder if I?m gay.

I date more very attractive women but still have the cute ones.

195

OK, when you don?t have a girlfriend at this stage, the ladies will whisper, ?Is he gay?? all the time. One girl got bold about it and asked me point blankly, ?Pook, you are cute and all. So why don?t you have a girlfriend?? I was stunned by her bluntness (rare among women).

Average women consider me out of their league. Cute ones try to become my ?friend?.

I date only very attractive women. Beautiful women are still a bit of an anomaly.

I've been working out sporadically since I was in high school (in high school I was in great shape- was a light weight wrestler and a cross country runner). But I was always stuck at a plateau- my natural size is about 5'8'', 132 lbs, and I found it hard to gain muscle beyond that. It was only about a year ago that I started taking creatine though. Instant results. My max bench press went from 150 to 180, my arms and chest got bigger, I lost my virginity, got kissed for the second time in my life (and have had a few bar hookups since then), and started getting more attention from girls than I have in the past.

Update: Have gone from 150 to 160-165 in the past two months (originally 130, and 5'10). Much more attention and way fewer blowouts.

Combine that with a more refined game skillset and things are going pretty well. Adding some muscle should definitely be a priority for the skinny guys on here. Could you get by without it? Yes.

After getting bigger, though, it's obvious that between having some muscle and being skinny...I would never go back.

Any one else go from skinny to kind of muscular/ not so skinny? What kind of results are you seeing?

I read that about a decade ago (2004 and around then) the male ideal was the more thin, toned guy. Fit, but not particularly muscular. (Ashton Kutcher, Zac Efron.) An escape from the 1980s 'roided body look (Arnold, Stallone).

Since then, so I read, the ideal has shifted - to a more Daniel Craig as Bond image, with bigger muscles once again - but not like before.

In my experience, from being skin-and-bones skinny to relatively muscular, there's a huge shift, akin to what Pook talked about, in what girls think of you. It's like night and day.

Lift More, Eat More. For all you 'hardgainers' out there, eat 5 or 6 meals a day. Keep eating even when you feel full. Lift heavy, and your muscles will grow. Doesn't happen overnight but after a year or two, it'll pay massive dividends..

Does the ADONIS INDEX, work best in terms of size/shape? (Google it, and see if that really hits base.. based on your experiences .. yourself or people around you)

The point of modern propaganda isn't only to misinform or push an agenda. It is to exhaust your critical thinking, to annihilate truth.

Im skinny af, seriously can't gain weight and tried all sorts of different things to put on mass. My metabolism seems to be outrageously high.

I'd post my weight but eff that, lol just know I'm 5'11'' and skinny af. Still can pull chicks, although I would prefer having a bit more mass as it'd make it easier lulz.
