I guess when you're young you can rely on age of consent laws to cover your ass, but once you hit your mid 20s, you really are better off to play it safe. At my age, I won't even hold a conversation with a girl who can't legally by alcohol.

FWIW, the reason we have those consent laws is to keep 30 year old dudes from hanging around in high school parking lots. The reason the law feels they need protection from predatory old men is because people that young may know what they're doing, but they lack the ability to understand the potential consequences of their actions.

In the UK, age of consent is 16.

Not only that, up until a few years ago, and before all this hysteria courtesy the US, the age cut off for Page 3 girls in the UK was 16. The Sun newspaper, which is probably the most widely read, regularly featured topless girls 16 and up.
