Someone suggested losing weight, but the moderators deleted it, lol.

everyone hates reddit now. The marshals are mustering their troops across the wide plains of the interwebs. Reddit is almost universally despised.

It's incredible how in over 25 years the internet hasn't changed much, but for the continual theme of morons ultimately ruining every good thing. reddit is just the latest incarnation of usenet, nothing more. It was interesting and worked well for a while, but then got overrun with morons for lack of exclusivity. Same deal with both. Much as facebook is almost a shittier version of talkd & irc, which were up and running in the 80s. What do web forums really provide that the mailing list "forums" of old and usenet didn't?

Usenet got ruined by spam and idiots circa 1997, maybe 96. Prior to that millionaires and global expert phds regularly offered solid responses. Seriously, the old usenet archives on certain subjects are better than college lectures. Six years ago reddit was actually pretty cool, believe it or not. If you're in technical/scientific disciplines it's still actually the case that you'll see quality posts by "famous" (highly relative term) dudes in certain of the sub-reddits. But it's barely anymore worth digging through the morons.

Allow me to revise my point about *nothing* having changed on the internet, because one thing did change: the mass participation of women. I can't think of a single damn thing today that didn't exist on the internet in the mid 90s in more-or-less equivalent form. The main thing that has changed is that fucks like zuckerberg figured out how to get rich off status whoring, which barely exists absent women. The meaty discussions back in the day happened either on private invite-only email lists, or in practical anonymity on usenet. Posturing and self-promotion were zero compared to now, because: a) no women b) no advertising dollars (because no women, and almost all ads are for women)

BTW I'm not quite an old fart. Late 20s. Just been online since the 90s.

I ain't gonna lie, dude. I'd smash that. She's "thick" to me, maybe borderline between thick and chubby, but not obese. At least as far as I can tell from this photo. But most us brothas tend to like 'em on the voluptuous side. Bet those titties would be incredible.

Redditor: "My wife wants to have an open relationship. Not sure how to react to this. Seriously need your help please."

Here's the link.

"She then goes on to tell me that last weekend when she went out with some friends (out of town, I was there too but watching the kids so she could go out), she met a guy there. She said nothing happened at all, no kissing, nothing like that, but they exchanged numbers. They were texting each other back and forth yesterday, again, she says nothing serious, just normal conversation. But that's when she texted me saying that we needed to talk because she felt guilty and didn't want it to be cheating."

Poor bastard.

Haha, there's a subreddit called "Swole Acceptance," which is a bunch of gym bros making fun of the fat acceptance movement and feminist complaints.

I found this hilarious - parody/rant on reddit a minute ago. Encapsulates modern American feminism really well http://www.reddit.com/r/funny/comments/z..._internet/

EDIT: This is the subreddit they are making fun of. Its the sort of militant feminism shitstorm where everyone is offended all the time and you are subhuman if you are male, white, christian, "cis", and not disabled. Lovely.
To everyone - this is what a feminist looks like:

Just saw a thread where a bunch of betas/omegas are pontificating on how a size 12+ woman isn't fat.

My last bang was size 00. Victoria Beckham shit.

Reddit makes me sad

Just joined that subreddit now just hope it does not become too big as that usually means a decrease in insightful posts and comments in favour for cheap images and puns.

But hey, maybe this post would do well in the travel section of RVF: Why every Sedditor needs a "PUA vacation" in SE Asia.

Wow, that was probably the best reddit post ever. A lot of those guys would do well to discover this forum. [Image: banana.gif]

Funny that you should say that. I had never heard of Reddit until I read something about NoFap. Got bored with Reddit quickly but at one point I came across r/seduction and that thread. Traveling the world was already a big dream of mine but reading that set in motion some real plans and research. Found this forum during a Google search and here I am now [Image: banana.gif]

OKCupid subreddit. Woman goes insane over a dude flaking on the first date, and then responds downthread with an ever-escalating flameout of self-pitying rage. I have literally known Holocaust survivors who dwell on shit less:

http://www.reddit.com/r/OkCupid/comments..._question/

"I went home last night, put on my PJs and crawled into bed and cried myself to sleep. I also know people will come along to ha-ha-ha at me because I did something to fuck it up. I did not text or call or otherwise really talk to him until the above exchange. This is probably the 4th time in less than a year a dude has done this exact thing to me after we've met. I don't mean fade me out or cancel or reject me. I mean THIS exact shit."

"You don't even have to say "not feeling it" -- the point is he called me and told me his availability and MADE A DATE WITH ME a few days earlier and left me there ALL DAY ALL DAY ALL DAY without so much as a "hey not going to happen today" text. Literally I HAD TO TEXT HIM just to get his bullshit excuse.

"This isn't even a fade out either. It's not a first date. It's not a "we should do this again sometime" but it's MAKING ME MAKE TIME FOR YOU AND THINK YOU'RE SHOWING UP and let me keep thinking it ALL FUCKING DAY.

I've lost it at this point because I know I'll see him offline eventually and want to punch him in the face."

I love how she wants to punch the guy, but she has a past post where she says that "assult, the little brother of rape" in a thread that asked the question: What is the most uncomfortable situation have you ever been put in- by a guy?
That woman is on reddit and the internet too much. Her comment karma is 46,484, and if you browse through her history, she mostly post in the following subreddits:
SRS
Okcupid
relationship
twoxchromosome
askwomen

So what can we deduce from this Sherlock?

HOLY SHIT, I have never seen the author of a thread reply so much. She's probably breaking 50% of comments there. Hamster overload.
