Wireless air cards?

I've been tethering at my house and my cell company dropped my data down from 2 to 1 gig.

I need to by a no contract usb thing that makes my laptop work at home.

Anyone? I can get Virgin for 80 dollars and 50 a month unlimited is there a cheaper or easier way?

Clear advertises all over the place. I've had one through AT&T for years, but it's expensive. I was going to check out Clear, but I want to know what it comes to with all the fees.

I haven't looked in a while, but they do have hotspots you can plug an aircard into. I looked into it when I was using an aircard at my house as DSL wasn't available. Was pricey, around $250-300 I recall, but they do have them.

I'm thinking about getting a Verizon aircard again as my net reception is fucking horrible out here in SW Minnesota with USC as it's not in their normal service area.

Look into a 4g wireless modem. It uses a SIM card just like in a phone.

I have two of them. Don't limit yourself to USB. That way you can use multiple devices at once. Keep an eye out on what frys.com is selling.
