Being smart can lead to the following:
1.Understanding of statistics and finding the proper environments.Discovering the tendencies.
2.Understanding the counter balance factors.Getting aware of the blocks.
3.Cultural awareness
4.Knowledge of languages
All these can increase chances of pick up.The problem of many smart guys in my opinion is that they are very afraid.They get easily scared and jerks use it to their advantage.Another problem is the societal pressure because society expects results and punishes for mere women hunting.Other problems are that smart guys put others off by displaying above average intelligence because in this case the other guy feels starined and he wonders why should I feel strained and not be able to tell my bullshit.It is not economical.

Usually average intelligence guys view intelligence as a property of no value laughable at least.It gives some smoothness but it is as long as it gets since even smoothness can be perceived as weakness.From the point of view of intelligent guys intelligence is everything and they feel vastly superior to the rest.One common question they have is why this superiority does not materialize often in results and the common answer is the society structure which heavily promotes and favours average.

I thought I'd bump this thread since I believe I am experiencing a few roadblocks in Miami.
I have been going out a fair amount of places with Nomad and we met PJ25 last night, a cool cat with a lot of high energy and rapid fire delivery.

However, my perceived personal roadblock here is that I am finding is, that when I open lizards here, I tend to be getting one word answers to my openers. I quickly run out of things to say if she is not interested as I am not the kind that wants to stand there entertaining some droll lizard like a party host and then I eventually just stand there and look around for better targets.

Am I doing things right or do I need to have some stories lined up? I mean for what it was worth, the convos that I did strike up in Toronto tended to go further. Is it a case of ease of opening a group inversely related to ability to sustain the convo?

Or do I merely need to open MORE sets? I would like the advice to be South Florida specific because every city has its own flavour and one has to readjust in order to maximise the wavelength.

Realise for some background information for those that don't know, that South Florida is very Hispanic and also the gold digging level is very high due to the ballers that reside down here.
This means that the convo will have to be Hispanic geared for the large part or one will fall short.

I am trying to tune into the South Florida wavelength and figure out what men and women in social places tend to talk about.

I've been advised that the intellectual level here isn't high so I make a concerted effort not to steer the convo into any areas of potential debate.

This means I keep light and sweet and just talk about where I've been and where I want to go, if it gets that far.

I'm in Miami, and when I first got here I experienced a little of what you're describing.

1) You have to dress to impress- the gold digging is at epic proportions in this city. About 80% of the time, the girl is summing you up before you even approach.

2) Attitude- If she's giving you one word answers and seeming non interested? You throw that right back on her. Start checking out other girls mid convo and speak to her with your body angled away. Or if she's hispanic sometimes I say things purposefully to get them fired up. Doesn't matter what, as long as you get that passion even anger reaction out of them. This is what gets their juices flowing. They are a passionate people.

3) Drop bait way sooner. Girls here have a ton of options, much like you do because of the amount and quality of girls. You have to make STRONG first impressions. No "weesh" approaches.

4) If she's hispanic quickly find out what nationality, and drop bits of knowledge of how you went there. Research on Travel forum beforehand. Doesn't matter if you're bullshitting and never been there. Interest in their country and culture goes a long way.

5) Be more of an asshole- You're going to battle through bitch shields. That's just the reality of the situation here. Tone it up. When I'm in NYC I even sometimes have to tone it down because of being here too long.

6) They all want something out of you- You have to bring something to the table. While in other cities just your company may be enough, here no chance. Girls are getting offers to go on sugar daddy's boat, heat games etc. For me I use tennis as a carrot, tennis lessons. Or even guitar/singing lessons. Whatever, you can make it up. My brother uses personal training. That way, they see it as a win for them. Yeah they go out with you, they fuck you, and eventually if they start getting regularly involved they have a "perk" also. I know, its fucked up but that's just the way it is down here.

It depends on what circles your in. Dumbing yourself down to a college educated black chick in DC is not a wise move. In general, being a black man and dumbing yourself down is not what's up.
