I Pledge...to mouth cliches and be a "servant" to our President

The Hollywooders, in an Oprah/Harpo production, spout an endless stream of drivel.

Diddy pledges to turn off the lights.

Eva Longoria pledges to plant 500 trees (yeah, right).

Anthony Kiedis kisses his biceps like they are Obama's sphincter.

And Demi and Ashton pledge to be "servants." (Or was it that they planned to HIRE servants??)

Anyway, here ya go. These are the people who think Obama is the greatest presdent EVAH.

God help us. (No pledges to the Deity allowed!!)

A bit touchy, now, aren't we?

Give me a call when those of us with a libertarian persuasion "pledge" to be a "servant" to those guys.

This is from 2009 and standard fare for Hollywood supporters of Democratic presidents. Obama is neither the best nor the worst president. You just want to stir shit up tenderman. [Image: smile.gif]

Man, can you imagine if Barack Obama was as much of a horndog as Bill Clinton. The way Hollywood folks worship him, he would have Eva Longoria bent over a table right now.

Ah yes, the baby boomer libertarian...

Too little, too late. History books will show that no generation in recorded history was given so much and pissed away not just all of it, but drove us into trillions of dollars in debt.

Mock Obama all you'd like. Whatever makes you feel better, but make no mistake your generation gave us feminism, raised the soft pussified children we see today, and ran up our debt to levels we'll never be able to pay.

Fortunately some of us paid more attention to our grandfathers and tweaked our approach to life based on this new breed of Americunt (thanks again, boomer). I'll be fine, this country will not, but keep hoping a libertarian-leaning Republican can win in this mess of a system created by your generation's own greed and self-centeredness.

Wow, who knew that I was the standard bearer for an entire generation? I could only dream I was that important.

Meanwhile, I'll mock whoever the fuck I want to mock, thank you very much.

As for "my generation" putting YOUR generation into debt, all I can say is, until Obama came into office, MY generation were positively pikers when it came to accumulating debt.

And in case you didn't notice, members of my generation gave YOU the following:

Computers
Software
Cell Phones
Astonishing advances in medicine and medical technology
ATM Cards...

Among many other things that you take for granted.

The problem with you Obama supporters (and if I am assuming you are and you're not, apologies in advance) is that you thought he was going to be such hot shit, and he turned out to be a smelly, warmed over turd.

Deal with it.

Saw a picture in the newspaper today that was very telling, Mitt Romney on the campaign trail at an event (can't remember where), I focused in on the people at the event, every single one of them was white. I noticed one black guy near Romney, for a second I thought, well there's at least one black guy, then I realized that guy was obviously part of his security detail, (buff black guy, wearing a collared shirt, sunglasses, standing near Romney with a bunch of white guys that fit the same description).

There was not one single non-white person in the photo of the campaign event. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, I believe that 90% of the people who vote for Romney will be white, whereas 90% of minorities will vote for Obama. The Republican party is the party of conservative whites, particularly located in the south and the midwest.

This nation is rapidly approaching a point where minorities outnumber whites, if they haven't already. I am sure that conservative whites are upset about this, that's where you get all the covert racism directed at Obama, the absurd mudslinging you see on Fox News, etc.

Sometimes I really wonder if posters like Samseau, Hooligan Harry, and Durangotang are "white nationalists", I wonder if they think or want there to be a "race war" in this country. I will say this, if you are a conservative white person in this country, your days of ruling are slowly coming to an end, Obama was just the first crack in the wall, that's going to come crashing down. And if you're a conservative white in this country, I have no sympathy for you, just like your ancestors had no sympathy for the native people of this country, who were exterminated by your guns, rape, and small pox.

I'm not an Obama supporter. Apologies accepted, and thank you for Microsoft Word (1995 edition).

I applaud your diversionary tactic and will address it. Your generation's advances weren't given - they were sold. Sold through monopolies that the then, boomer-run government both condoned and received a hefty cut both financially and in terms of power. Thanks to Boomer George W. Bush, our cell phone companies can tap our phones and search our phone records without a warrant, but I digress...

As for mocking whomever you'd like to mock, you're more than entitled. You're also entitled to social security. Many in your generation will need it, as roughly half have over $25k tucked away for retirement.

As for your use of the word "pikers" (great word btw, haven't heard it in a while) the boomer generation's personal finances - if you believe the above statistic - doesn't lead one to believe you made small bets or were "stingy or cautious."

Furthermore, the most recent boomer President Bush cranked our public debt to GDP ratio up from 32 to 54 percent. This was when the economy was good. Obama's simply following the same script in a lousy economy.

If victorious in the electoral college, Romney will do the same. We could argue this until the cows come home, but it's won't be Romney's fault in the same way it's not Obama's fault...

I'm not sure if you've spent (read: done) time in Washington, DC. The politicians, the lobbyists, the contractors - mostly boomers. Baby boomers cemented this fucked up system that takes (under the threat of jail time) from its own to finance deficit spending. Think about it: Under Reagan (where the boomers first got their start in "the system") spending went through the roof. Boomers came to formal power with Clinton and Bush 43.

In the same way that you're only one baby boomer, Obama is only one president. There's a whole congress, mostly boomer, that rubberstamps his spend and spend agenda. A Chief Justice (again, a boomer), that decides the insurance mandate/tax is Constitutional. The Chairman of the Federal Reserve is, as you probably know, the probably the most powerful man the world and he is a boomer as well.

As referenced in my previous post, I will "deal with it" and I don't need your command to do so. Consciously or unconsciously, we will all deal with it.

Our political leanings are probably closer than you otherwise assumed. At the same time, my bullshit detector goes off when someone from the generation that deserves a large part of the blame for our country's current, fucked-up, scenario tells me and everyone else on this board that we should vote a certain way to "fix" Obama's mistakes.

The whole system needs fixing. This system that your generation - more than any other before or since - helped create and strengthen offers no solution. The only solution is to tear it down and start from scratch. History will show that no boomer, yourself included, had the courage to do it.

I wish you the best of luck in your blaming of politicians and searching for solutions inside a system that serves only itself. You'll need it.

Typical boomer lost in the clouds

I was happy with my land line and getting girls numbers with a pen.

I was happy going to a concert and not have to try and jerk my neck to see past the blue tints of Iphones on record.

I was happy talking to real people in person

Happy reading real books

I did not need any of that shit. The only thing that was ground breaking was the internet... but Boomers can't take credit for that since that was a military project that spanned a good generation or two and past their days.

Boomers will get the blame because you guys didn't finish the job. You had a revolution going and chickened out last minute. Then sold out for entitlements and have lived delusional and care free ever since.

Boomers we're faced with adversity. Shit was about to hit the fan and they did now want to get dirty. Generations prior lifted up their heads and dove in head first.

I looked at this thread and thought, meh, not worth it. Then I read where you started to make it about race, and I thought I am so sick of race and racism being brought up all the time. Then I read where you referred to me as a "white nationalist." Lol. When have I ever brought up race?

Well, let me tell you my thoughts on race in case they are not clear. Doesn't matter to me. I care about culture. I have not brought up race nor do I care to, for reasons explained below.

As far as I am concerned, there are four horseman of the politically correct apocalypse destroying American culture (which I grew up in and loved). They are feminism, racism (minority rights), homosexual rights, and environmentalism. Marxist thought is applied to each. The alleged victim group are the new proletariat, whom is trained and organized to overthrow the alleged oppressor, the bourgeoisie, which is the traditional anglo-saxxon, christian, patriarchal culture.

We are well aware of the ills of feminism here in this forum. Most American women today have been raised from birth and taught that they were the victims (the proletariat) and men were the privileged oppressors (bourgeoisie). They are very organized, vocal, and seek to destroy and critically suppress dissenting opinion and leverage this position for personal gain. Likewise any non-white group is now organized around the role of victim (the proletariat) and make everything about race whether fictional, historical, or imagined, and are organized with countless special interest groups whom seek to suppress and leverage their position for personal gain. Same with homosexuals, whom have been taught to identify themselves as victims (the proletariat) and whom have organized around this role, to seek to overthrow existing "gender norms", heterosexual familes (the bourgeoisie), and force acceptance, if not down right promote, homosexual culture upon the nation. Environmentalism is more complicated and I would be glad to break that down at a later time for anyone interested (it is essentially a new anti-human urban, atheist religion that is a bastion for marxists since they co-opted the environmentalist movement since the fall of the Berlin wall).

If you are not a member of one of these groups, you are not one of the neo-priveleged superclass. Affirmative action is designed to work against you. It is not a merit system. Despite the claim of "tolerance" political correctness serves as a mechanism of pure suppression. Do not dare think of speaking critically or give your actual opinion, you must always run a mental filter to assess if you are in conformity to the politically correct. It is exhausting, tyrannical, and diametrically opposed to free speech. Welcome to life in cultural marxism.

Which is precisely why I disrespect you, OGNorCal707, for needlessly bringing up race and playing the race card to divide. I am sure you have learned it, and I am sure it plays to your favor in a nation no longer based upon freedom of speech, rational thought, and merit.

For anyone interested, following is a short video of the origins of political correctness:

^ This is very much true. As a observer of America you can boldly see it has been lead to slaughter by creations that have no bouds in reality. These artificial creations were made to divide people and steel wealth.

The Environment

Femenism/Gay movements (I combined them)

Race

And my added one is: the self myth of individualism which is more or less tied to servitude via debt.

All of these are manufactured and pumped out to keep Americans at each others throat

Class and culture are the only two things that matter that can drive a cohesive group to shed blood and thier lives. Minus those any other issue simply does not matter enough to warrent such emotion and investment of time.

White and Blacks (and somehow invisible hispanaics .. unless its election time, and Asians) are pegged agianst each otehr while your culture and class detrioate. America is getting poorer and it does not matter what colour your skin is.

People need to see past the smear and bullshit. Just bringing up "right vs left" or "Romney vs Obama" "white vs black" means you don't get it. You simply are still stuck in the box with only a attainment of pussy and maybe so materials to vouch for.. but as a Man and a human you are still stuck in that box.

Politcal parties don't mean shit

Race does not mean shit

Its all class and culutre and once you realize this your view on things change.

Romney vs. Obama = nothing

Both are crooks.

Its the system that is rotton and braking America. They will continue to make you think it is the "other person" fucking things up and now yourself whom is unable to see the rotten system for what it really is.

Libertarianism isn't the answer, neither is a savior candidate, nor is marching down the streets, a gold standard, right-left, reform, none of it. Its the requirement of all people and society to look at them selves in the mirror and admit they fucked up. Admit they fucked up propping up a system that has no other purpose but to fuck them over.

I have been listening to some Lyndon LaRouche lately, who happens to be about 90 years old, and the subject was cultural decline. According to LaRouch, coming back from WWII the attitude had profoundly changed in America, and the children who grew up following WWII in the cold war began the decline. In his words each subsequent generation represents a degeneration, not a new generation. A degeneration that can be seen in education, body, thought, dress, music, art, etc.

This resonates with me. I was born in 1980, which was just 17 years after JFK was shot, and before the baby boomer generation really started to take over the institutions in the country. It was another world. For example here is an advertisement from the year I was born and America culture was still somewhat intact:

Anyway, I digress. It was the 68er's, the baby boomers, who became compromised with false ideology and ushered in an era of drugs and the counter cultural revolution. The politically correct revolution. The cultural marxist revolution. They were a degeneration, and each generation they raise or whom follow them are a degeneration even further down the line. I thought I would show you in pictures:

This Be the Verse
BY PHILIP LARKIN

They fuck you up, your mum and dad.
They may not mean to, but they do.
They fill you with the faults they had
And add some extra, just for you.

But they were fucked up in their turn
By fools in old-style hats and coats,
Who half the time were soppy-stern
And half at one another’s throats.

Man hands on misery to man.
It deepens like a coastal shelf.
Get out as early as you can,
And don’t have any kids yourself.

There is a reason they call it Generation Z. They have no reason to think anything will exist past this current generation that is coming up. Something will have to give to start a fresh and it will either progress forward or plunge into the abyss. I am far from fear mongering here I am just stating the obvious.

To quote a good buddy of mine: "Do you honestly expect to see 80 years olds in a old folks homes blasting Deadmau5 like my Grandma blasts Billie Holiday? ... not a damn chance."
