"Is it us, or is it DC?" Two DC reporters head to Alaska to find romance

So where were the manly men? The ones with the facial hair, the calloused hands? Where was the man who could kill dinner and cook it over a fire from the wood he’d chopped — then have his woman for dessert?
Stopped reading there. These women will never be happy. They want their man to not only spend all morning and afternoon killing their food and chopping the wood, but then they also want him to cook it too? What do they plan on doing the entire time this is going on? Sure these guys are self sufficient, but why would anyone take on dead weight? Especially in an unforgiving environment like Alaska.
The other thing that cracks me up about this quote is these are women that obviously want to be an object to their man, but don't want to be objectified. Chivalry when they like it, sexism when they don't.
There was an anti-marriage website some 5 years ago that had the following quote: American women want all the advantages of being married without any of the disadvantages (responsibility).
And they wonder why they can't find romance?

You know what? If chicks made a deal with men that if they did all the shit that these chicks seem to want their men to do, in exchange for sex and blowjobs on demand, a lot of men would take that deal. But even with that limited duty, women still wouldn't hold up their end.

I'm sure a lot of men would, but it's a shit deal. Anyone who has been in an LTR will tell you that fucking the same pussy all the time gets boring. It's what the other person offers other than sex that determines whether or not a relationship will last. We all know that, but it goes over the heads of sexless betas and women.

This is a great irony. They say players objectify women - which we do unashamedly. But players are also best at looking beyond the sex and relating to women for who they really are, on their own merits. We are better at appreciating the good girls and treating them as human beings; while we're unforgiving of the bad ones.
In contrast, the sexless herb will rarely interact with a girl on that kind of level. He will forever pedestalize her and, yes, 'objectify' her without being able to relate to her as just another human being.
Try explaining that to a rabid feminist.
