This is how you start the party in Dubai. [Image: banana.gif]

Be warned, clubs charge $30 to walk in the door, just to pay $10 for a bottle of Carlsberg. I got a great rate at a popular hotel for $120 per night. There's cheaper hotels, but they won't allow for female guests. This is big ball town. Come prepared.

Just found this data sheet:

The Most Overrated Destination on the Planet

All of those destinations are somewhat overrated – which doesn’t mean you shouldn’t go there. You should do exactly what you want; just try to keep your expectations in check. There’s one place over all the others, however, that wins the prize for being the most over-hyped city anywhere on the planet:

Dubai, UAE. I enjoyed driving around the Emirates a couple years ago (there are seven of them – Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, and Umm Al Qwain – naturally, I went to each one), but my time in Dubai was surreal.

This is not actually that unusual, because most travelers end up thinking that Dubai is odd when they get there. The majority of the people you’ll interact with in Dubai are immigrant workers (English surpassed Arabic as the common language a while back), and seemingly permanent construction cranes fill the city. Yes, you can get anything you want in Dubai, but since sheiks and Russian billionaires use Dubai as a playground, it won’t be cheap. As for entertainment, there are shopping malls, shopping centers, shopping areas with fake ski resorts, and hotels with shopping malls enclosed within.

The Alternative: Oman, a nearby Persian Gulf country, is much more fun and a thousand times more authentic. Qatar is also OK, but seems to be on track to become another Dubai as soon as they can build a ski lodge and fake islands with huge hotels.

I agree on the Dubai analysis...unless you really,really like shopping malls...it's a complete void of a destination..an empty lot..boring!

With all due respect to the G, he hasn't been here. The best data sheets are from those of us that travel and report back. [Image: angel.gif]

Yeah. A data sheet without experience is something Dash Global would do. Completely worthless.

I was in Dubai last year. It's an interesting place. Definitely worth a visit to see for yourself but I wouldn't make a trip there if I wasn't over in the part of the world already. I would hit up Dubai if I was planning to hit that region and check it out for a weekend as a side trip.

The infrastructure is unbelievable. Most countries in the world won't get there in our lifetimes, including the US. Dubai is futuristic as hell. There's lots of shopping to be done out there as well. Amazing malls and stores. Lots of money floating around. High-end cars, hotels, apartments/condos, just everything money can buy is there.

As for girls, the majority of the population is made up of folks from India and the Philippines. You can find some cute Asian girls there. There's also expats from Europe and the US, as well as some sprinkling of folks from all over the world. There's definitely targets ripe for pick up. Hotel bars and clubs are found throughout the city.

The weather is very hot and dry as it's practically a desert.

Yeah, HC, this place is rife with money. I'd say anyone with a skillset and about $10K in the bank could come here and find a job. I'm meeting with a German tonight that's gonna give me the rundown on how things operate here.

Smooth. Please share those insights on how one can just show up and get a gig out there. What's the rundown on the hassle/paperwork for obtaining a work visa, etc.?

Dude last night someone offered me work. This mofo can't speak for what he does, due to it being classified. He's heavy in the science field. I mean some off the wall shit. This is stuff Roosh would have his nose in. Anyway, I expermented in his shit, and he was kissing my ass all night.

I told you motherfuckers, BE INTERESTING, AND READ, AND PEOPLE WILL REWARD YOU FOR IT. Yeah, so I might take the job. It's some next level shit.

Now for the rest. Some faggot ass Arab grabbed my cock. He almost died. In America, he would be dead. Here, I had to lay low. That set my night off. At least 10 hookers pecked at me. At least 3 were willing to fuck for free. I was on fire last night. Long hair makes amazing things happen.

I told you guys I am fucking stupid. Look at how I post. but someone here offers me a job. Why? Because I'm an international playboy, that is interesting. And I'm honest. People smell that.

Ali, with all this happening. Why are you sitting and posting on the board!? On your feet soldier! I want you charging those pussies as if they were the beaches of Normandy! This isn't R&R, this is war! And every dry muff lip is a potential hiding place for insurgents. Turn those fucking flaps inside out!

Dude, I have $3K in swooping armor that never made. My bank card is still AWOL, and my now I probably have $2K racked up in hotel charges. I promise you, that last night I spent $500 on alcohol. Some Arabic dude cornered me and threatened my life because I owed him money. Apparently Western Union is closed this weekend. Dude, someone is gonna kill me.

The African hookers wouldn't leave me alone for paying them. I bought 3 rounds of Corona's. That was $90. And yeah, there's a third in that group. Convenient huh? The pinay bartenders hate me already, so that means I did something stupid.

Make fun of Neil all want, but I fuck up 10x worse than he does.

Damn, I wasn't kidding about the hotel bill. And the front desk has reminded about it all day. They've called like 10 times bugging me. I finally got the message sent through to the bank to have some cash sent out. Then I had to make an immediate payment on my credit card to make more room to finish off the bill. If I wasn't so hungover this shit would be funny.

Last night I drug this dude out to a club. The place used to be pretty fly, but last night it was filled with douchebags. I cut my losses in under an hour and left.

Well my trip has ended. The first thing I want to mention is the QOG. They are better here than anywhere in the ME than I have been. They are still shy, but still opened up faster than the GCC.

A lot of damage could be done here if one were to set up camp and concentrate. Due to my fuck ups a lot of time was lost. I just lost motivation. My costs would have lower had I not felt compelled and spent a fortune on drinking. It adds up mega quick here. Stop in the duty free and grab 4l of liquor. It's imperative to prime yourself before hitting the clubs. Bring a flask too.

Other than that costs aren't too bad. The groceries stores managable, as are cabs and restaurants around the neighborhoods. The bus system here is good, and offers a place for pickup. They are full of pinays. Void anything western, and cook in the apartment.

Avoid clubs attached to hotels, as they are full of pros and guys there aren't interested in talking biz. Stick to the lounges. It shouldn't cost to walk into these. Places like The Irish village are full of expats, and people are friendly. The other night it was full off pussy too.

In the end I may come back here and get serious. In a very limited sober timeframe, I got one job offer, and several solid prospects. If I was set up proper, and had a month (sober), I would be employed. It's nice to know there places still out there that aren't sucking economically.
