I recently stumbled upon an article on pomegranate juice, claiming that the juice raises your testosterone levels.
Being a curious cat, I bought myself a bottle of it.
Well, after two weeks on this juice, I'm pleasantly surprised. I'm feeling much more confident and energetic, my mood is better and my little beer belly is shrinking like a mofo. And yes, I feel that my sex drive has increased.
I'm always sceptical with these things as I am well aware of the power of the placebo effect and the fact that there are just too many studies which are poorly designed and are of low scientific quality.
But, as I'm experiencing positive results myself, I thought I'd share my findings and would like to hear of other peoples' experiences.
The are no drawbacks to drinking pomegranate juice other than it naturally containing extra calories and being expensive.
In Germany, 1 bottle of 750ml costs around 8 Euros. You can get it cheaper if you order larger quantities on the internet, but not much cheaper. The juice should be available in the States, too.
It tastes quite good, much easier to drink than the Apple Vinegar which didn't nearly do as much for me as pommegranate juice apparently does.
Enjoy !
