Gaming Customers at Work

To preface, I'd like to state that I'm new to this message board but have been reading Roosh for quite a bit. Also, I'm just recently getting back into the game after breaking off a 3+ year relationship.

Here's my dilemma:
I recently took a job at a chick store in a local shopping mall. We sell accessories for women and the ones who come in are usually very attractive. At any given moment, there is at least one 6/7 shopping in our store, if not more attractive women of greater quality.

This is not the problem.

The problem is that I can't really figure out a good strategy, if any, to get the attention of any of these women. I'm a decent-looking dude and my game doesn't suck outside of work, but I can't overcome the awkward feeling I have before approaching a customer. I'm not even sure if it's possible to pull a woman out of shopping-mode when you're a salesperson, especially in a store that carries THOUSANDS of accessories. Another dilemma is that I work with all females, mostly attractive females who seem to like me, and I'm not sure how wise it is to risk them seeing me number close with customers. Am I about to shoot myself in the foot on this one? Does anyone have tips for removing that employee-customer awkwardness?

I have never worked at a chick store, so I don't think I can help.

But I am sure girls will swoop on you sooner or later.

Either way, just try to swoop the girls.

Doesn't seem like you want to make a career out of the gig.

Yeah, I'll try to swoop inconspicuously. I'm still feeling it out. It's just difficult to get them out of their shopping mentality. I definitely underestimated that factor prior to working there.

If this job is only a pit stop, make hay while you can. Just be prepared to see it cost you your job eventually and cause some level of animosity with the women you work with. Jealousy will see the women you work with try and make things uncomfortable for you. Likewise, if the store manager finds out that your hitting on customers may result in you making the customers feel uncomfortable its going to be seen as something that will hit their pockets. Rest assured, all you need is one jealous coworker to mention it to management and you will have problem sooner or later.

I've never worked in retail so I don't know. However, my recent ex phoned me a few days ago to tell me about her experience at a restaurant. Their server was hitting on her while she was out to dinner with her family. And this dude was flirting hardcore with her apparently right in front of everyone. That's strong game if you think about it considering that she's at dinner with her dad, brother, and sister-in-law.

Turns out that dude wasn't a dude but a very butch chick. And even though she's never even considered being with another chick because she's just not into it she ended up giving shim (she/him) her number and intends to go on a date with shim. I asked her how far she intends to take it and her response was she wasn't sure, but she just found shim to be very interesting and would be open minded to the whole thing.

Anyway, just saying that shim used direct game apparently and scored the digits.

Never been in this situation, but some insights from general experience with women, and from dating a girl who I met and worked in a clothing store:

You can play it safe by only closing the girls who are really into you. The type that wouldn't bat an eye at you getting their number.

You should be able to flirt with the most innocent of dialogue. At least for the initial flirting, it should be stuff that your supervisor would be happy to hear, 'cause all you're doing is putting a smile on the girl's face. Ideally you'd flirt a little before helping her, and continue the flirting as you help. The more excuses you give her to continue talking to you, the longer she'll stay, if she's into you.

If you want to avoid the whippin' out phones issue, just memorize her number, or go old-school and tell her to write it down. "Here, pretend you're writing down a product number, so the girls I work with don't realize and get jealous" Do that after you've agreed to drinks, coffee et cetera.

Even though you work for her, try not to be her bitch too much.

Sometimes I see these "predicaments" dudes report and I'm sitting here left wishing I had their problems.

ITS A RETAIL "MALL" JOB FOR CHRISTS SAKE.....just smoothly and discreetly game all the girls you want. Being a ladies man is actually a skill that is appreciated around the mall. Your bosses might think your a player (so what), in my experience as long as your smooth about it, mall/restaurant people actually like to have a young handsome guy around to keep the girlies on their toes....im mean the mall is all about shopping, being sexy, etc. So flirting and gaming fits right in .....getting the customers panties wet is always good for business!!

Ha. Fortunately I don't work at Claire's. I work at For Love 21, Forever 21's accessory store. No worries, Roosh. I'm not a pedophile. The girls who come in are usually in their early 20's and if not, they're at least over 18.

I was with my friend and asked for an application as a joke while at the mall applying for various other jobs. They were the only place that called back. My manager told me the other day that the girls have been telling her to hire a guy and that she called me right away for just that reason.

It's comforting to know that I was not hired because of my resume, experience, or interview skills but because I have a penis.

Well, the problem with that job is that girl's are going to assume right away that you're gay, so if you don't flirt with them, they're going to think you're gay, so basically you have no choice but to flirt with them. Just follow my logic here...

Man, you're in the position for kino-explosion. You can put the accessories on the girl, and be really suave about it. Just mess around, don't worry about the repercussions. Your boss with warn you in person if she has any problems with it, but until then I wouldn't assume she is against it.

Well, it's kind of like working as a bartender. You can't just go hitting on every girl, so just be all-around fun/cool guy, throw out a joke and see if the girl bites and tries to have a conversation. THen your only issue becomes getting the digits with other coworkers around and what not.

If your manager is cool, I'd say go for it. You could even use work as an excuse to role-play. Act like it's a naughty thing to do to game girls while you're working. They will eat it up. Say something like, "my manager would get so pissed if he knew you were flirting with me. Let's meet up after I get off of work".
