Hotel or Hostel?

"Hotsel" is the real answer man. If you can afford a hotel, guess what the $25 cost of going to a hostel to get a crew going is +1. Then you bounce outta there if you pull and get a hotel. Don't see the upside in choosing one, have your cake and eat it too.

This is what my travel style is like since i'm young looking (been told i look 19). Anyway hostel it up if you pull any DTF girl is not gonna say no to a Hotel. Finally, hotel = much tougher to pull unless you are older imho... happy slaying.

Still talking about the old Hotel VS Hostel debate.

I have a way to finally put this thing to rest for the Hostel dwellers:

This friday and saturday night, rent 2 rooms; one room in a hotel and one in a hostel.

See which one you end up bringing the girl you swoop back to.

You see where this is going right?

Debate solved.

Well we weren't talking about it for four days until you came along [Image: wink.gif]. I thought the matter was done and dusted.

Ummm....this is what I already suggested?

You can guarantee someone will bring it up again within 3 months.

On the plus side, you can leave the forum for 3 months, come back and jump right back into another Hotel VS Hostel debate.

Doesn't always work that way obviously.

Parents, boyfriends, husbands, roomates, etc etc

Plus she might have some little weesh dog that gets its grubby paws all over your Custom Suit.

A hotel you don't have those issues.

When you are really in the business of swooping mass amounts of fly girls, you try to minimize variables.

Hotel or Hostel?

This is something I am wondering about for an upcoming trip, and I think I will just get both. Hostel costs are really inconsequential, what are we talking about, $20/day? That is nothing. Use hostel for potential social bump, but be able to go back to a nice hotel with full service, business center, etc. Plus, I like a nice hot private shower, which is hard to find in a hostel.

Hotel or Hostel?

Sorry for the bump after four months, but...

As I stated in a meetup thread, I'll be in the Bay Area this weekend. I am going for work for a few days and thinking of taking some time for myself and am not sure how cheap of a hotel I can find on short notice, especially in San Francisco or something. I've also never stayed in a hostel. I have been to camp before, staying in a room with a bunch of people, so that wouldn't bother me.

Is this something I should experience at least once? I just don't want to pay out of my ass for a hotel.

A practical question regarding HOTELS:

If you chose a hotel, do you book a DOUBLE room just in case you might bring a girl, or you book a SINGLE room, hoping that you can sneak her in?

Unlike the US (where double rooms are standard), in Europe a double room might cost you more than a single room. (EXCEPTION: some sites (like hotwire) offer standard double rooms, also in Europe.)

Booking double rooms might save you a lot of hassle, so I think of only booking double if the rate is only slightly higher than the rate for a single room.

Blaze Frazier: check out those hotwire rates, at times you find a hotel for a hostel rate.

Forget hotels. Just do AirBnB.

was about to try AirBnB, but needed a place for the day of arrival. Does that last minute booking work with AirBnb?

I'd vote for Hotels.

I stayed in many hostels. Even when you spring for private rooms, most private hostel rooms don't have private bathrooms.

Don't think it will fly with any quality girls to wait for some 50 year old dude to finish smelling up a bathroom before she uses it.

No private bathroom makes the whole deal harder.
