Thanks ElMech. I'm staying at the Renaissance Jaragua. I'm not sure how far that is in relation to the main spots but the pics definitely look sick and I think it's heavy DHV.

I joined DRCupid for one month on the suggestion of a friends I respect but the vast majority of those chicks already have kids. What's up with that island? lol. Kind of irks me. It's almost a guarantee a decent looking girl above the age of 20 has some kids already. I know a good amount of Spanish so I just plan to hit the ground running and also taking advantage of social circle through my friends who know people there.

Yeah I hear DR is that kind of place to live up with your boys. One of the cats in my crew is a dude I know from when I was in Panama actually. He's flying to Panama straight from DR after the trip. He did a recon visit to DR with a chick a few months ago and told me I have to go this summer. Looking forward to seeing where it ranks with South and Central America being a Caribbean island. IMO, Jaragua is overrated. Funny, last time I was there I saw the President of the DR in the lobby, lol. It's right across the street from the malecon. There are some other hotels along that strip with clubs in them to the left when facing the malecon. It's not a terribly bad location.

You have El Conde in walking distance or short cab ride for day game and there is a nice little park a few blocks to the right where people play volley ball outside. The casino has some decent chicas. There are a lot of other places to stay that might be better for pool parties and that are def chica friendly.

If you meet some nice chicas, Juan Dolio isn't far if you want some beach action and have your chicas with you. Boca Chica is about 15 minutes away too, but is a bit ghetto. You're not walking distance to the best clubs, but you can take a pretty cheap cab anywhere - especially if you speak Spanish. You said you got some DR vets with you so I'm sure they know all the hot spots. If you belong to Gold's, get a travel pass if you plan to work out cause I've met some smokin babes in Gold's in SDQ and STI.

Take heed also to what G said. There is an inordinate amount of P4P there. If you give up your home info, don't be surprised to get hit up for Western Union either, depending on the chica. Lots of street rat chicas and semi pros around and in Jaragua also.

That's the crazy part. I've talked with expats that live here and only bang pros. It makes no sense. I see Americans all the time that come to the casino's and never leave the grounds. Most end up around the N. Coast in Puerto Plata, Cabarete, ect. The hookers are where the tourists hang, so get away from that and you'll have nothing to worry about.
