Nah, Ukrainians won't give a shit what you write, they're too busy trying to put food on the table. The exception to that could be the Femen girls, but since they show their rage by getting their tits out that's no bad thing, especially Alexandra Shevchenka who is fucking hot.

It's not Kharkov because its got a nice center city and a few parks. Outside of the center city it looks like all ex-Soviet ugly cities, but I wouldn't consider Kharkiv a shithole. Probably somewhere else I've never been. I think I heard Donansk is a shithole. Most have that ugly square building architecture from Soviet times: Soviet Art Deco minus the Art. The Soviets left it Lithuania too. Why did you pick a shithole to live?

Hehehe, until I read Timmy's comment, didn't even realise there was a town called Dnipropetdrovsk in Ukraine! 3rd Largest city in Ukraine! So much for my knowledge of the country.

Expect Roosh is travelling to his summer hiatus destination (my bet: Paris for some gallic loving and well earned first world r&r) and will fill us in on where he's been in this thread soon enough.

Roosh, I see you took down the "in the Soviet Shithole" and your name in Russian, so you must be out. Where were you? So you found Ukrainian girls a little different than Polish girls?

For those who somehow didn't figure it out, Instagram confirmation came in that the city was lovely Kharkiv:

I can't have sex with your personality, and I can't put my penis in your college degree, and I can't shove my fist in your childhood dreams, so why are you sharing all this information with me?

Roosh, if it is Kharkov / Kharkiv, I'm kind of shocked because that city has a some nice areas in the center. Where did you live that was so shitty? How much did you pay? When I lived there, I lived right on Sumskya right next to the park. Great location within walking distance to dozens of restaurants and a few bars, and just about anything else you could need. All Ukrainian cities look shitty once you get away from the center, but I can't imagine where you stayed and why you didn't stay in the center. The picture above looks like the train station.

I stayed in the center, close to Universitaet metro station.

Who cares about restaurants. The bars in the center weren't for pickup. The big park was a sausage fest at night. The clubs were out in the suburbs. The center was dead at night. I could go on.`

That city changed hands like 5-6 times in world war II... poor Ukraine. I wonder if all that suffering means hotter babes two generations later? That'd be horrible!

A year from now you'll wish you started today

I am from Kharkov originally. It is one of the "nicer" cities in Eastern Ukraine, much better than dreary Donetsk or Dnepropetrovsk. Large student population with a great talent pool of attractive women who are very approachable if you fit certain type.

The strong silent type of course. In short, display of status is very important, something that may be elusive for the guys visiting from abroad. If a had a penny for each instance a girl told me that "Americans dress like bums."

Ukraine is a place where a book is actually needed to describe what goes on there. It's complicated.

I was there in 2006-7 for 7 months off and on. I went to a few other cities for a few days each. Also spent about 3 weeks in Kiev before going to Kharkov. Things may have changed greatly, because I did Kiev for 3 years before that and saw a big deterioration in the girl's interest in foreigners. In 2004 girls were easy and I had more girls than time to take them out. 15 months later things had changed greatly in Kiev. Dates flaked and I had free days with no dates where I went to bars to pull. Then in 2006 spent the 3 weeks there and set up some long term plays, then went to Kharkov and other cities.

Were there many foreigners there when you were there? I lived in Kharkov from Oct. to April and I was probably the only foreigner that was there so I was really the only game in town for girls who wanted to meet foreigners. The center is dead at night except for the hookers that hung out across the street from my apt looking for cars to stop. I stayed across from the statue of the poet, so I believe you stayed w/in a block of where I stayed. I did not think the bar game was any good in Kharkov. I liked Kiev's bars though. The restaurants were good for taking a date and walking a block or two back to my apt. Girls liked coming over to my center city location. Did you have internet in your apt or go to the internet cafes? How much did your apt cost? I could believe things may have changed greatly for the worse since I lived there. Let me know when your book is ready. I'll buy the first copy. I hope to get back over there w/in a year or two at the latest.

Yes I think the forum has shown that places can change rapidly in just a couple years.

There were tons of Middle Eastern dudes and also a good amount of Africans. I was surprised at the number of immigrants.

Being American in Ukraine didn't get me as much mileage as in the Baltics, Poland, and Scandinavia. The girls didn't seem to care much. Then again they could be aloof so maybe they did care but were pretending otherwise.

I find it quite strange that people say that countries like Ukraine have been ruined or that you need to go to tier 2 or 3 cities to have any success with the women because of foreigners and sex tourists yet somewhere like Bangkok which has been receiving tourists and sex tourists in mass numbers for over 30 years is still a perfectly good place to meet decent, attractive, thai girls. It surely can't be too bad in Ukraine considering that it's never been on the tourist map and until earlier in the week because of Euro 2012 will have never seen an mass influx of foreigners at one time.

Ok so maybe girls are chasing you down the street begging you to fuck them but that doesn't happen anywhere.

I don't recall anyone here saying Ukraine/Kiev is "ruined" like say Prague or Riga. But it's pretty clear that it's not as easy as it once was.

Ok so if Bangkok hasn't been ruined despite having a mass influx of annoying tourists and horny men from the world over for more than 30 years how did Prague and Riga manage to become so ruined so quickly? The stag do's and sex tourists weren't going there until maybe a decade or so ago?
