I moved to a mid-sized Midwest US city four months ago by myself. My work's in a really professional setting, most people are older and aren't into going out and we all work about 60+ hours/week. So for the last four months, I've been rolling out solo every Friday and Saturday night.
This last weekend when I was talkin to a chick her friend came by and grabbed her and told her "this guy creeps all the time." Now where I live there are only about ten bar/clubs total where it's worthwhile to run game. I can get maybe one number every time I go out and maybe one new lay a month. I'm a minority so I stick out like a sore thumb and I really don't want to get "figured out." This weekend's coming around and I'm kinda hesitant to roll solo.
Routes I'm considering taking:
1. Cooling it for a month: reflect on what I've been doing right/wrong and improving other parts of my life, new hobbies like reading and cooking, etc. Let the chicks I've gamed on move away or leave the going out circuit
2. Putting this on hold for a couple years: in about two years I'll be able to transfer to a larger city where I might know more people and I'll be working less and making a ton more.
3. Stay on the grind: keep doing what I do. One thing I follow when rolling out solo is staying a good position at the venue and not really running out of my way to approach, but when the night gets later it becomes more of a mess and I can't stay in the same spot. I might just try to stay in the same position regardless of how messy the situation gets.
Have you guys run into issues like this while rolling solo? What are other issues that might come up after rolling solo extensively?
