So its my last night in Miami, its Monday and I'm out drinking beers with two friends. The bar is big, but pretty empty. Two guys drinking outside, my two guy friends and myself drinking outside, and 4 girls and one guy drinking inside. The 5 set thats talking inside is low energy, just 5 people chilling.

I go to the bathroom and as I'm walking back I stop and open the 5set. I say

"Hey guys, I have to get back to my friends but I wanted to meet you." I introduce myself to the guy and then the girls. We exchange names and I find out its one of the girls birthdays.

My target tells me "Are you drunk?" I say, "I'm getting there" She offers me a shot and I take it right away and she says "Like a trooper"

She says "Are you here to get some ass?" I say "I'm just meeting people"
We talk a bit and I tell her how in Argentina girls are different and how they're histericas, how they would never say something like that.

We talk a bit and then she says "I like your scarf" (I'm wearing a summer scarf even though its not cold or anything, just doing it as a fashion statement) I say "thanks"

I get my iphone out and open it up to where she can enter her number. I say "Put your number in here" She says "I have a boyfriend" I say "Its okay, we can just be friends" She says "He's really big" i say "I don't care, just put your number down" and I slide the phone to her over the table. I give her a missed call and she asks me if I'm lying to her since I have a 305 number. I tell her I switch sim cards when I'm in Miami.

She then offers me a blow job. I say "yea sure" She passes me a shot that I'm suppose to drink with no hands and I had never done that so I was afraid of spilling it all over me if I attempted it. I said " No, you guys can keep it. Another of their guy friends comes and they offer him the shot and he drinks it with no hands.

The girl tells me "If you had done that I would have cheated on my boyfriend for you" She then stands up and goes to the restroom.

I say "You learn something everyday" Soon after before she comes back I leave and go back to my friends.

An hour later I text her "Hey blow job girl, nice meeting you tonight. Send me your facebook and we'll talk next time Im back in Miami. "

No response yet.

Basically my questions are how could I have responded better to these situations...
"Are you drunk?"
"Are you here to get some ass?"
"I like your scarf"
"If you would have done that I would have cheated on my boyfriend with you"

And lastly, what should I have texted her and how long should I have waited?


I know, very long post! I just wanted to get everything down and ask all the questions that came into my mind and see what you guys thought.

I think you did good overall, IMO. She did say she has a boyfriend and not every girl is going to cheat on her boyfriend.

Thanks speakeasy, I think I did pretty good too, definitely have done much worse. Wish I could tape and record every approach and have it analyzed, would make the introspection easier.

Why did you ask for the number instead of the date? I don't remember the last time i asked a girl in a bar or club for a number. Always ask for the date.

I'm not a fan of this kind of opening because I think it comes across too weak and needy as you're already indicating that you want something from them. But hey it opened the set so good job there I suppose.

I would have opted for something a bit more cheesy instead of "I'm getting there." and she says "Like a trooper" almost sounds like she's being condescending in a sense like belittling you. But I don't want to read too much into that since she was probably drunk.

Okay, I think this is a direct challenge. It's obvious that she's buzzed and is trying to get some sort of reaction out of you. Seems like you handled it cool like but this is where you need to deliver the knock out punch instead. I read Roosh's response and I think it's a winner. My personal style would drive me to say something more condescending which generally produces mixed results like "I haven't seen anything interesting yet"

Oh gawd. Let her play with the scarf! It's a nice prop and she's drunk. Take the scarf and wrap it around her neck and tug on it like she's a dog or something. Be playful.

Once again she's probably buzzed. I don't think you've made a memorable enough impression to where she's going to remember giving some certain guy her number, and on top of that much less remember who this 'bozo' is trying to call her. I would have changed the angle of the game to go for the makeout instead.

I don't like this at all. You're showing that you're kind of uptight and not very fun. Was there any other reason to decline the drink and to say "No, you guys can keep it"? Find a more tactful or playful approach. Me personally I would have had her place the shot between her legs and proceed to drink (the actual way the blowjob is supposed to be drunk). I would say it's not actually a blowjob unless it's done this way or something. She bought you the drink (which is sorta rare in itself) so my guess is they're trying to have fun. I think your responce was a buzz kill.

She's just toying with you. There was never a guarantee that anything fruitful was going to come of this interaction with her. But that's not really the point considering there were 3 other girls there and you could have worked up an impression on one of them. This chick likely never intended to really do anything other than what she was doing. At the same time if your approach would have been better you can convince a lot of girls into doing something they didn't intend to. I think going for her number (don't have a reference to how much time lapsed between the opening and going for the number) wasn't a good call here. I would have tried to gauge the situation more and play the field of girls that was there before committing to a number close. But if that girl was your target then I would have skipped the number close and try for the makeout.

She won't respond wipe that number from your phone. And 'blow job girl' isn't a good way to try to get her to respond. If she was drunk--as I suspect she was--she probably won't remember and maybe freaking out that someone is calling her a 'blow job girl'. It's hard to say and speculative, but I'm sure nothing good will come of it. If she actually returns a text or call I'll be surprised.
