Grad student at American University wants to go out tonight. I want to drink and maybe share a light meal. It's date three, odds are favorable, and it's now or never.
For obvious reasons I want an establishment near (preferably walking distance) to her apartment, which is walking distance to American University and I think pretty close to Tenleytown Metro. I know nothing up in that neck of the woods past Adams Morgan. I'm car-less at the moment and coming in the opposite direction up from VA, hence the focus on logistics.
Help me out if you know a decent spot with side by side bar seating and the right lighting. I got a few hours to settle this.
