My Ongoing Notes On London

Not harsh at all man. Good feedback actually. I have heard similar; that London is a city where you need to get in with a circle, and stick with it. Obviously that is not conducive to being a passer-by.

That said, I think that a flag is always possible. I want to get one. I'm a fine looking guy, in half decent shape and on the tall side, but unless I'm fully suited I'm nothing special style-wise. Its just not a big focus of mine when I'm living out of a small suitcase!

The only thing I bring to the table is good, strong game. I cannot imagine this city is so fucked-up that an American guy with good game won't be able to get a flag. Maybe I am wrong.

I have certainly not been putting in much effort, so I won't be surprised if I fail. It will be for lack of trying, which is sad.

I wouldn't say nationality is an obstacle but it certainly is not an advantage. Unless you can bring something to the table that the Euros of London can't you are going to have to seriously lower your standards. 2nd tier cities will be much more open to an American. Hell even I am exotic outside of London.

You seem to be getting overly cocky which is not a good thing. The English tend to feel that Americans are brash and like to blow there own horns.
I found that English girls like to date English guys, yes the same guys that are skinny and out of shape for the most part.
English girls abroad are a different story altogther, they are out for a good time.
The good news is that there are alot of other nationalities passing through London and living there, so I found it alot easier to get other flags than say an English one.

Cocky? How so? I thought I made it clear that I didn't find myself too exceptional by your criteria. I'm above average height-wise (according to the statistics at least), and don't find myself to be especially attractive or well dressed (even in a suit!)

I do have strong confidence in my game. I don't find that to be cocky; I know my strengths and weaknesses. If I had the time and dedication to head out for hours each day with the sole intention of getting a flag, I earnestly believe I'd succeed. I'm not going to do that [Image: smile.gif] I'm here for other reasons, but I should work harder. That much is true.

I should make it clear that I don't care what flag I get. I have no specific love for english girls whatsoever.

London girls love asshole game. I don't know what you're taking about. Anything you could run in NY, you can run here.

I might put a caveat on educated upper class girls since they're probably half and half on asshole game. I would tone it down a bit for this group. Even then, I'm texting this banker girl straight up douchebag American stuff and she's eating it up.

Yeah you can pull no problem as an American in London. It's no disadvantage. But nor is it an advantage really, and if you try to play it as an advantage, girls will enjoy testing you on it.

Just do your thing and make it happen, English girls are not much different from US girls really. If anything, they're more sexually liberal, despite perhaps abit more shy/ standoffish on the open.

Dude, don't get defensive and no need to rationalize or justify yourself.
I thought you were after the English flag, those girls tend to be some of the easiest one's I have met. It generally takes a few drinks and they can be yours for the night, however the nicer one's will be alot harder to get.
However, you only have three weeks to try and do damage. Did you pipeline ahead of time?
I wish you success, London I found hard to game decent girls. I got with girls there that I would not generally give the time of day back in Canada. My weekend trips to the continent was much more successful.

My Ongoing Notes On London

Rather than post here, I just did a whole writeup about how I broke out of the funk I had been in. A long read, but absolutely worthwhile. It took me two full weeks to get into my stride, and just barely. I'm going to see what I can do with the remaining 7 days!

http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-12992.html

And no, I did not pipeline successfully. I messaged a few girls on OKC with a mediocre response rate and nothing ended up coming through. I half-assed it, admittedly and will know better next time. I have friends in Manchester, and I really should head up there for a while. My friends said that the girls there are easy as they come. Last time I was there, every single one I talked to was fascinated that I was from a major US city. They got positively starry-eyed. I got a few suggestions to check out second-tier cities in the UK, which I think I will do next time I come around here.

I have a few weeknights / weekday afternoons to kill this week. Any suggestions on neighborhoods to haunt? I like casual coffee shops, chill neighborhoods, etc. Not too eager to spend more time down on Oxford St or City of London.
