Yeah, of course Aussies pinheads are the number one tourists in Bali by a big majority, but my point is that from what I saw there are more Dutch ppl than you'd expect travelling in Indonesia, partly because of the colonial legacy. You see this in other places, like Brits in Borneo, or French in Laos, or Portuguese in Mozambique, or Americans in the Phillipines. So just because you didn't see any Dutch person in three weeks or whatever in Bali doesn't change the fact that for whatever reason ppl tend to travel to places their country once raped and pillaged.
Bali
True, I always return to a places where I raped.

Bump. I'm considering going here for a month before my year in Singapore to do a quick and dirty joint venture with a friend for passive income.
Can anyone comment on:
-Populations of Euro/Scandinavian women
Very few Scandis in Bali. The ones you'll meet there are the few informed ones usually on a serious, sightseeing vacations. The most heavily (and readily available) population of Swe/Nor women outside of Scandinavia you'll find in Phuket.
Don't know if things have changed since I was last there in 2006, but Bali was much cheaper than Thailand especially for alcohol. Not too many Scandies in Indonesia because blonde girls can have problems there with the Muslim men. Danes especially won't go there, because of the cartoon thing a few years ago
