I'm changing my venue to Miami soon and I understand clubs are the majority over bars. The main difference between the two is dancing obviously.
I've never "learned" to dance. I just used to do it back in college. I never thought twice about it. Now that i've seen some dudes nonchalantly bust out some sweet moves, it makes me think that dancing could be really fun. I'm self-conscious about it these days and think knowing some basic moves would really make dancing fun. I'm thinking house or hiphop, which seems to be the majority of music played at clubs.
I understand that dancing is fluid, its not just step 1, step 2, step 3, repeat... but I feel like building blocks are necessary, some basic steps that can be integrated.
Does anybody know of any good online resources for dancing. Maybe the kinda thing I could watch and practice in front of a mirror, as silly as it seems? I'd be willing to pay money if the material was legit.
