I came up with an idea (Patrick Bateman) and started searching, and actually uncovered a GManifesto post on the subject, pretty good stuff: http://www.thegmanifesto.com/2007/10/bes...-guys.html

He recommends some costumes that fly or flounder on the clothes. Like Dracula. If you had real tails, it would be a dope outfit. Esp. with a cape, ala FDR at Yalta. The G has one no doubt, per his presence on the diplomat circuit.

Or you had clothes that looked like they spent decades at sea, you'd make an awesome pirate.

I'm going to go as Patrick Bateman with the bloodied poncho. Got some nice haberdashery, just need the pomade.

On of the keys to the Bateman costume is to get the Pierce & Pierce Biz cards made up.

If you hand those out on halloween, you are sure to get enough call backs to last you through 09.

Halloween is wicked. I will be going as Tony Stark, since the movie was dope and I already kind of have that dark hair-light eyes thing that Robert Downey Jr. has. The beard is already in play, my hair is of the right length and color and I just need to buy one of those LED press lights and attach it to my chest. I will also be rocking a suit, drinking cocktails all night, chopping girls like an Apache and looking amazing.

To me the Halloween costume is best done in one of two ways;

1) Minimalist Method (so it looks good but only requires you to change your appearance through natural means, like my beard)

2) Cutesy (girls get foamy for that shit...rabbits, tigers, dogs and the like)


Notwithstanding; a top 3 party night of the year and easily the best night to pick up girls.

I think Patrick Bateman would be pretty sweet, especially as the G said, with some business cards (Mergers and Acquisitions). Last year I did a little Tom Cruise in Risky Business, and fueled with a little alcohol, girls were a bit more liberated with their touching, to say the least.
