Cracked Turning Into Jezebel Round 2?

Mangina or MRA?

http://www.cracked.com/blog/5-reasons-wo...le-future/

It seems to me like hes inacting Law 38: think as you like but behave like others from the 48 laws of power. This article is more comedic than the last article. Seemingly poking fun at MRAs or people who actually talk/think like he is. Hes satirizing the movement but presenting core concepts to the masses.

"B) Men are also more likely to die doing something awesome, like gang violence, a knife fight in a bar alley or a big fiery shootout with Mexican police. Or when Clint Eastwood pulls out his lighter in Gran Torino, and those guys light him up? Badass. Or when like a blimp or a horse explodes in a tunnel somehow, those are also cool ways to die that probably only happen to men (studies are still in progress on the exploding horse thing).

C) We take high-risk jobs more often, and get ourselves electrocuted or ground to death more often as a result. In fact, more than 90 percent of occupational fatalities are male. Go team wiener!"

Seems like hes also bringing some ideas from this article http://xenlogic.blogspot.ca/2012/02/why-...-rule.html

Was not sure what to think about the article. I know for sure that it will get 3+million hits.

He seems cool with being a dude and all, but in order to make it proper MRA satire type shit, he should have said something that's well proven that implied-

"Girls do not claim responsibility for their own sexuality"

Phrasing it like --

"Super empowered feminist women boning whoever they feel like. Isn't that great?!"

Just seems to pedestalize women a little much in the article.

Cracked is one of the dumbest, dullest, politically correct, lowest common-denominator-pandering websites on the internet. Period.

Cracked Turning Into Jezebel Round 2?

I've noticed that article yesterday and also thought it was written in poor taste and just for collecting the most views possible from "OMG we will rule the world!" throngs of delusional harpies. I like Cracked, but they are disappointing me with that kind of articles!

At least it isn't written by David Wong.

Yea, cracked used to be just one of many sites i went to have a laugh, but with these apprehensive excursions into the world of men and women they're doing themselves a disservice. I wish they'd just stick with dramatized historical examples and exotic foods.

I couldn't agree more, Tengen.

I treat internet humor like I treat my toilet paper. It's cheap, it's disposable, and after I'm done using it, I don't want to think too much about it. Ever since my "baptism" into the manosphere, I've been noticing that Cracked is getting to be more and more manbooby/Jezebelesque. Fuck that shit. I wish more people were like Maddox so when I'm bored and I don't feel like reading/doing anything productive, I can at least read about grown men making fun of children or fat chicks. Seriously, it's not like there's a recession in self esteem for these women. Between cupcakes and drinks, the only thing they consume more of is validation. And that validation should stay the hell away from the internet.
