Well I picked up a blond at the grocery store. Now that I think about it I'm really disgusted by her complete lack of respect for herself. I could have been a serial killer for all she knew. It was too easy. She stayed for two nights, and is now calling saying she wants to come out here.

I hit some hotspots along what I believe was Scottsdale Road? Lots of girls out, but they all looked a bit on the young side. Lots of blonds.

Picked up something to burn in Maryville(?) I believe. Really easy to find. Pretty good too.

Drove out to a Gentleman's Club called Bliss (?) one night, but with a girl. I had a vibe from a dancer and went back the next day, when she was on the day shift. She swore she was going to call me but flaked. Went through a checkpoint on the way back.

I like places with extreme weather for day gaming. It was cooler for desert weather, so that's an easy opener right there.

Bumping this Thread....I'm headed to Scottsdale, AZ from Thursday-Saturday...Staying at the W Scottsdale http://www.starwoodhotels.com/whotels/pr...rtyID=1736 which is suppose to be the epicenter of the Nightlife Scene there...Looking to do MAJOR damage in two days with my brother flying in from the East Coast with me...After that we are rolling to Vegas for a Bachelor Party Weekend...Does anyone have any up to date Intel on the scene in Scottsdale/Phoenix and where we should go for Day Game and Night Game? Will be providing a tight Data Sheet upon my findings...I've heard the chicks here are Easy Pickings with Very diverse backrounds and Love to Party...We shall see .

Still have some contacts in the area, so I think I can help you out. If you're staying at the W, you don't need any help it is literally in the center of everything in old town scottsdale. Daygame, pool at the W. Maybe you can hit up Fashion Square or Biltmore Fashion Park or Whole Foods. It will probably be too hot to do any outdoor daygame. If you're looking for an older crowd, North Scottsdale bars are the way to go, but girls are pretty easy peasy in Old Town Scottsdale.

Are the hotspots right now with the hottest chicks. I would suggest getting to places early (10-11), or you'll have to wait in line. Most places get hot as hell, so dress accordingly. It's dry heat, but it's still hot and most places have a patio or are open-air.

ASU just started their fall semester, so you can hit up Mill Avenue in Tempe if you're looking for the college crowd. When I lived there The Tavern usually had the best crowd.

Phoenix doesn't really have a developed nightlife scene, and most people just work there.

This has been stated on this thread before, but it's worth mentioning again: DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE! They set up check points, pull people over randomly, and you have to serve time if you are convicted of DUI. Taxis are all over and pretty cheap. If you are staying at the W, you can walk to most clubs.

It depends on the state. I know Georgia does it as well. Arizona is almost known for that stuff.

New to the forum, but grew up in Phoenix/Scottsdale. Basically, Phoenix proper is useless with the exception of good Mexican food, and the First Friday art walks (1st Friday of each month) if you're looking for cute hipster girls. Scottsdale (especially Oldtown) is basically a lower tier Vegas/Hollywood scene, but with similar quality. Go during the few months when it's below 90 during the day and suit up at night to set yourself apart from all the Ed Hardy/Tapout types. The W and Mondrian are the top spots to stay, but I prefer the Valley Ho (more chill atmosphere), and everything in Oldtown is pretty close, so you can get by walking or on the bicycle rickshaws (and avoid a DUI). Day game (or night for that matter), definitely check out Tempe/ASU when school's in session. I was fortunate enough to live a few years in a frat house a while back and have nothing but good to say about the talent there, check out the college bars on Mill Ave to get a feel for the place. Also, Phoenix is the home of the $5 Lap Dance!

My limited knowledge is they're not if they stop everyone.

So, they can 't set up a checkpoint and stop only young people for example.

But since drunk drivers are a true and legitimate traffic hazard, and do indeed kill people, if they set up near bars and just stop and eyeball everyone who passes that passes by-- that passes reasonableness test from my point of view and also the law's ( I think.)

Who wants to find out and be the test case, anyway? Not worth it at all.

Also, if you HAVE had one drink, and you get stopped, in my experience you may be better if asked if you've had anything to drink to say no, as in my experience with cops if you say you had anything they will pull you out of the car. They assume you've had way more than you admit.

I've been stopped and the cop asked me a few times if I'd had anything ( he said I had swerved, I honestly didn't remember doing it) . I hadn't , and kept saying "no", and he let me go.

It was kinda blah...Got a bang but It was a sloppy late night pull from El Jefe (Nice Bar BTW)...In all honesty It was just too hot to really get into the scene there (Over 115F daily!). I heard during the Fall is where It's at. I will return for the USC vs ASU game in a few weeks so I will get a better feel for the place then and be able to day game a bit easier earlier and throughout the day.

The W logistically is in a perfect location and the concierge takes care of your every need with Guest Lists for the entire club scene in PHX/Scottsdale. I was only there Thursday to Friday so we missed the pool scene which I heard really goes down on Saturdays. On Friday we hung out by the pool but It was basically a Hot Dog Boil in the Pool...lol. Guys all sanding around in the pool waiting for action and chicks to come...Kinda Sad...We just chilled out got a tan for a few hours and ate then went back to the room to get ready for the night.

We found a good Hip-Hop Spot on Thursday Night called Shade...That place was BANGING! A lot of fine chicks of all nationalities and high cooperations levels and the music was off the hook.

Went to Myst on Friday Night and it was extremely douchebaggish...Damn...It was some talent in there but the music was wack and I just couldn't get into It. Chicks were choosing up on us though so we just took it to El Jefe next door which is the most consistent bar scene we saw throughout the two days we were there. A lot of hot blond and ditzy broads, latinas & asians and virtually no comp. If you are a GQ brotha you will stand out above & beyond from the lames of all races (Ghetto Black Dudes & Tap-Out/Ed Hardy White Guys). Many chicks were wondering why in the hell we choose PHX to come to during this time of year as well. The area has some really cool scenery and beautiful desert backdrops but the summertime isn't the time to go! It's just too hot to enjoy it fully.

Staying at the W is a must since It's literally a stones throw away from everything.

I'm sorry you didn't have a better time, since Scottsdale is one of my favorite cities in the US. Yeah Myst really started to fall off a couple years ago a few months before I left. A shame, really because the setup is one of my favorites in Scottsdale with the outside patio and the way it is setup inside. A lot of isolation spots and you can pull your chick away from her friends for a smoke really easily.

The late fall/early spring are really the best times to go. It's still warm enough during the day to go swimming but at night since it's so dry it cools off enough to wear long sleeves. But really for some reason it's great for guys with game because there isn't much competition.

I'm heading to PHX in a couple of weeks and staying at the W. Any other tips you can provide? Would you wear a suit out? Any other places you would recommend hitting up? Thanks for any info.
