Trying lifts

So I am considering trying out lifts when going out at night. I am about 5'6 and want to see if I notice a difference (I will be about 5'8.5 with them). I know some members have tried this, but am wondering what people have done if they end up back at the girls place and have to take their shoes off or alternatively they see the girl again without lifts. Do the girls even notice? For anyone who has tried this did you notice much of a difference? I would think i would notice a bigger difference than someone who is already taller and trying to get above the 6' mark. Don't derail this thread into an inner game thread.

Give them a shot and see.
I have a buddy who's maybe 5' 5" on a good day and he stands up very straight, nobody gives him shit about being short. Your posture is probably more important than your height.

I don't wear lifts but I do have some nice cowboy boots i put on sometimes and the height difference is pretty noticeable thats for sure. I'd just buy a quality set of cowboy boots but make sure you buy stuff that people won't notice are cowboy boots under your jeans or dress pants. I have ones that I picked up when I was vacationing in Arizona for 225 bucks that are a reddish-black colour and they always get complements while adding height. I didn't buy them for the height purpose though.

i am your height and i wear lifts regularly when i go out to da club. at the very least, it is only fair that we should be able to make up the difference that girls gain by wearing heels.

some things to consider:

- a lift of X inches doesn't actually make you 'taller by X inches'. i've got 2.5" lifts. now, considering the fact that normal dress shoes have a 1" heel and the fact that the lift's internal heel compresses by up to 0.5" under my weight, i'm left with a gain of about 1" RELATIVE to other men. depressing, lol.

- there are dress shoes with internal, built-in/concealed heels (these are proper lifts), lift insoles (i.e. http://www.myliftkits.com/), and dress shoes with conspicuous heels (called "cuban heels", i believe). along with a pair of proper lifts, definitely buy a set of lift insoles. they're cheap and comfortable, though with that comforts comes compressibility. i'd avoid the cuban heels as they're painful and seem to be more of a fashion statement than a directed ruse to maximize height.

- despite the abundance of online retailers, make sure to try lifts on personally at a store. you really want to get the fit and feel right. as for fit, your lift shoe size will be a size or size and a half lower than your normal shoe size (me: 9 -> 7 1/2). as for feel, some can feel awfully painful, while others feel very, very nice. ensure that you get one of the latter category!

- lifts are... shoes with heels, so they can be very loud. remember this before you walk down a quiet street/hallway with someone.

- as stated two points above, your lifts can be quite comfortable, with your feet getting very much used to them. but this has its limits, so avoid gaming that involves a lot of walking, venue changing, etc. there's this one guy i go out with who likes to bounce around a lot, running what i call no coat check game. i don't wear my proper lifts with him - instead i wear my shoes that have insoles in them.

- what to do when you get home? i dunno, wear thick slippers or some shit

You need to get your inner game right, man. [Image: lol.gif]

There are other threads on this subject; you should use the search feature. I don't think you should use anything that raises you more than two inches, because: (1) height isn't just about how much you lift off the ground (it's about proportions); and (2) she will see how tall you are when you take your shoes off to bone.

Trying lifts

I don't really need lifts as I'm only a little below avg height, but I've done a little to experiment....

So I'm 5'9", and generally wear shoes with minimal heels (my beloved Sperrys and some designer sneakerz), and they don't really add height. When I go to clubs, I stuff gel inserts into my shoes; they only add .5" in height but are really comfy especially for standing up at a venue for prolonged periods of time. I recommend em, unless your foot loses circulation.

I haven't noticed a difference in female attention really, other than the placebo confidence boost of being .5" taller. You need to take that into account when you use lifts too, some of it may just be your inner game seeming stronger when you have a crutch!

I also blew wads on a nice pair of Prada boots. They make me 5'10.5"-5'11". I *Have* noticed much more female interest when I'm wearing these. Not only because they're some nice looking boots but I think also because of the height. I'm a good looking guy already but when you make me 5'11" I become a ladykiller.

And I honestly think at 6'1" I'd just have sex propositions from models.

I'm learning to embrace my low height, it makes the hottest girls a challenge, and it makes other guys hate me slightly less out of jealousy.

And actually, girls ARE still just as interested in short guys, however they're self conscious about how they'd look in heels with you, especially if they're already in heels at the club. Heels are preselection for tall guys, so why not put lifts in, as long as they aren't absurd?

And Tuth, when you're taking off your shoes to bone, I'm assuming you've already given her gina tingles. At that point, it won't even matter anymore that you deceived her. Just don't expect to date for a prolonged period of time if the lifts are big.

Just what I was going to say. Hell, you could be wearing the male equivalent of Spanx, but if you bang her and she doesn't really notice, it won't matter.

It's like a girl's checklist. If you manage to sidestep before banging her, and banging her good, all those boxes on the checklist are pretty much irrelevant by that point. Eg, she catches you picking your nose right when you meet her, versus after you've banged her - she will respond very differently from one to the next.
