Has this happened to any of you guys? Sometimes when I wake up in the morning after a night of drinking and sex I'm dead sure I caught something. Even the symptoms start to arise. Do you get tested?
I used to think that was the way to go now i'm just letting it play out and it turns out that it's mostly in my head. How do you guys deal with this?

I get the same feeling. You can't really look at someone and decide who's got what, so it really comes down to a numbers deal. If you've been at it a lot lately I would get tested. Though any symptoms that you feel the next day/morning can't possibly be anything, that part is definitely in your head.

I've had sex with a girl I knew had herpes because (not during an outbreak.) I've had sex without a condom because she was allergic to latex and we didn't have one on hand and I really wanted to laid. I've had sex several times with girls who I just met hours ago without a condom.
I guess I do feel a little nervous. I just make sure to get tested in about 4 weeks, since that's about how long it takes for antibodies to show up if you did catch something.
I also tend to try and make sure she doesn't have STDs before having sex, especially if unprotected. I usually have a good sense of whether or not I can trust a girl by the time she's in my bed and I'll just ask her before we do anything. If she's on the pill, I trust her and she says she doesn't have anything, I'm go. If she's a really drunk bar girl and there's not a whole lot of connection, always condom.

I've actually had a couple of scares lately and had to get tested. Believe it or not, I'm in the midst of a semi-scare right now. It's more likely than not fine, but I'm waiting on some data from this chick.
The worst thing is that your mind starts playing tricks on you. You swear it's burning when you piss and your dick feels weird. Then, you get the all-clear and all the "symptoms" miraculously go away. Maybe it's just me, but it's fucked up.

Turned out they were just a combination ingrown hairs / agitated skin from rough sex. I used to be much more worried about STDs in the past than I am these days, and I don't know if it's a good thing.
I'm more afraid of the 18 year old virus than anything else since I like to raw dog so often, but I've become a true pro at pulling out.

My friend caught herpes and HPV from boning around. I once got a scare after going un-protected a while back. He told: "look man, if you are going to be a stud, this shit might come up, and you can't go backwards once you get it."
I think it's best to look at the current stats for all the STDS, and not your individual experiences. They'll give you a better sense of the odds. There was a thread on here a while back about STDs.
A lot of girls are ok with raw dogging these days, which is promising and scary at the same time.

There should be a test like the pregnancy one with the + an - on it that you could rub on your dick and pee on as soon as sex is done. I don't care which one but as long as the minus shows up it's all good.

Yes and I've almost caught both of them many times. Once the doctor told me "Almost"
The problem with condoms is that I raw dog and almost catch something then after I play it safe and rawdog the girl that I almost caught something from again. So in fact I'm almost passing the same stds back and fourth to myself. I can't catch a break.
How do you tell a girl you have been rawdoggin that it's condom time? It spooks the lay so you just have to take your chances of giving yourself a std that you may or may not have given her.

Basically herpes is the one you got to be weary of, it's extremely common, and I'm of the opinion that if you raw dog enough slutty women you will catch it eventually.
Herpes isn't cool obviously, but I think the social stigma is way worse than the reality. Basically you get a couple uncomfortable cold sores on your junk for a couple weeks, its kind of a mind fuck, and there is discomfort, but if you take meds it should clear up. As long as you are healthy and have a strong immune system, you may never have another outbreak.
I think a lot of people either have contracted the virus, and for whatever reason don't have an outbreak, or don't have a sever enough outbreak that they can definitively know they have it, or go to the clinic to get it diagnosed.
A lot of people have it, and are in denial or just straight up won't ever admit it, due to the social stigma. No one wants to be labeled "that guy with herpes."
Unfortunately this is how shit gets spread, when people know they have it, but won't tell the other person, out of fear of social repercussions. Basically, I'm quite certain my psycho BPD whore of an ex-GF knew she had the herp, but didn't tell me for the entire 8 months we dated. I ended up "popping" and she put on this elaborate "performance", acting like I was this bad guy that fucked around, gotten herpes, and was giving it to her. I'm quite sure this was one of her many elaborate lies, meant to cover her own tracks.
Any how, all the "super-alpha" guys like Samseau probably don't want to hear me rant about this, or maybe they are just so "alpha" that they are immune from catching STD's.
Obviously HIV is the big one you got to be concerned about, but realistically unless you have sex with a woman on her period, or are having anal sex, the rates of transmission are super low.
Syphillys, gonhorea, and clymidia, you just take some meds and it clears right up, not much to worry about there, unless you are fucking a chick and have to break it to her.

I just say no to raw dogging. I also wash my crotch right after sex. If I am going out, I carry some pocket handi-wipes with me, just in case. Condom + cleaning genitals afterwards has worked for me.
