Correct, this law also applies to bodyguards for the girls, which is a dangerous situation for them

you'd hope body guards or drivers would be able to rationalize in court they were not involved. I mean, drivers & bodyguards are not necessarily linked to just prostitutes, obviously.

I'm sure it's a wonderful situation to legalize prostitution but make it illegal for them to have protection or drivers.

There are streetwalkers in Vancouver, but they are only tollerated in very specific areas. The impression I got when there was that as long as they stay in the tollerated areas police won't give them too much trouble. I remember a local billionaire being caught with street-hookers in his car. Well, being caught for class A drug possesion, where it came out he was with hookers at the time of arrest. A billionaire, but his idea of a good time was picking up streetwalkers in the worst part of town. His name was Mr Something Ho. I kid you not.
