Yep. Also, get ready for an extended bout with Borderline Personality disorder, Histrionics, bi-polars, narcissists and downright depressives. The vast majority of porn stars are off mentally, have historically abused drugs/alcohol, and/or have been abused at some point in their youth.
Athlone,
You know me, I have to challenge everything you say..
But seriously, how do you know this?
Have you dated any porn stars?
Do you know any of them personally?

I won't even go into the studies that confirm mental illness in up to 40% of the total American female 18-21 populace as it stands. That number, given the extensive instances of drug/childhood abuse, is bound to be much higher in porn.
The rest of the evidence is anecdotal, both first and second hand.
Ok, just checking your sources.
The first link you provided is a passage from a book that a women wrote. Why do you trust this woman as a source? As you often say, many women are mentally ill. She could be a "stripper sympathizer" making false claims. We know women often make false claims right?
I find it interesting that you, a man who often writes about the mental illness and lying nature of women, would blindly accept this woman as a source? Maybe you know her work well and she has earned your respect?
Your 2nd link is a blog by a guy who films porn. He mostly talks about how most porn actresses are from poor backgrounds and are bad with their money, nothing about mental illnesses.
I guess my point is that I find it interesting that you post about porn actresses when you have no real world experience with them?
This is interesting to me. People can research stuff online and they substitute that online experience with real world experience. But, I don't think online reality is a substitute for real world reality. Without actually experiencing these things for yourself, I think its hard to to say that you "know" them. You can get a picture of it, but to really know it, I think you have to actually experience it for yourself..?
I am not trying to pick on you. I'm just using this an as example of "Internet Experience vs Real World Experience"
