Peaceful, isolated and beautiful places?

So this is completely different than all the threads already on the forum. It's not asking about a place filled with people, nightclubs, women. It's about finding a place where you can have a big beautiful house overlooking incredible natural scenery, with amazing weather year round (similar to Los Angeles weather, almost always sunny and warm) and located in an area that is still, what's the word, 'natural'? For example, no processed foods, no fake bullshit, everything is natural and fresh.

I had a lengthy discussion with some mates about having multiple estates when you're older and settled down. A couple in your favorite cities in the world (such as NYC, Paris, etc), but one estate in a place like I described in the first paragraph to live away from all the bullshit we see in the western world. Bullshit like pharmaceutical drugs, every food you buy from the grocery store has injections in them, shitty air quality, and many many things that cause cancer and other terrible diseases.

I haven't been to many places like this, but the only ones that come to mind would be somewhere far up in the mountains in the south of France or mainland France. Where you have that fresh, raw, untouched natural environment, and you're still a fairly short drive away from a busy city. Or maybe a hidden place in South East Asia? Somewhere in Italy? Greek Islands?

Anyway, I hope you understand what I am trying to find, and hopefully some of you have been to or heard of such places.

Medellin checks many of these boxes. Depending on where you are...slower place, fresh air, nice gardens, trees etc, throughout the city. Didn't explore enough the quality of the produce but Carulla - one of their main chain grocery stores was not only on par with those large ones you'd find in the states, ie - Ralph's, Von's, Albertsons etc, but actually quite better.

I kept planning on exploring the quality of produce/grass fed meats etc, but my time was filled with more enjoyable tasks. Ahhhhh...those paisas!

Didn't visit any fincas outside of town, but know that they check even more of those boxes. Weather is pretty SoCal like, albeit possibly more rain, but very tolerable "tropical" type rain.

If my money was straight, I could/would move there in a heartbeat!

If you need Los Angeles like weather but isolation and close proximity to farmland and untouched nature, I think central Chile would fit the bill.

Hawaii and Seychelles are pretty much perfect except that they're VERY isolated islands, far from everything lol. I was thinking a city somewhere in Europe. For example, a nice Mediterranean city like Cannes, Marbella (don't like this place), etc...

I just got back from 2 months in Peru and you can find areas like that there. Huanchako is a beach town that is like that fresh food, decent surfing and it is located 20 minutes from Trujillo.

I've been heading down to the Berry Islands in the Bahamas annually since I was a child. Totally unspoilt. Small palm fringed islands, mostly uninhabited and surrounded by the clearest waters known to man. You could get yourself a little Boston Whaler for a couple of thousand and spend your days fishing and snorkelling on the reefs eating what you catch and selling the rest in the marina on Great Harbour Cay ( the main island of the chain ). You can buy land quite cheaply down there if it's not beach front and build yourself a house where you could plant your vegetable garden so you would have organically grown food. I have family who left England to do just that down there and it was the best thing they ever did.

Confirmed, Seychelles is paradise. Expensive to get too, and more expensive to stay there, but its amazing.

If you like the outdoors and seasons, there are definitely places in the US that fit the bill.

My friends dad bought property back in the 90's in upstate NY something like 300 acres for 500 grand. It's fucking beautiful, but the winters get as cold as the mid-west. He lets the neighboring ranchers and farmers harvest the hay on his property so he gets a tax break. Good deal for him. Would I want to live there? Hell no. Is it an awesome fucking time going up to visit for a week riding ATV's, fishing, hunting, shooting guns (without having cops bother anybody) and seeing every star in the sky at night? Hell yes

But there are plenty of places like that. Montana, up and down the Appalachians, etc.

Bust out a sheet on this.

I think there is zero information on the Seychelles.
